As a civil engineer with a PMP certification and proficiency in Primavera P6, I’ve encountered several hurdles that many junior planners and project managers face. Here are some key challenges and the strategies I've found effective in overcoming them: Building Experience: Moving from academic knowledge to real-world application can be daunting. My Strategy: Seeking internships and volunteering for projects has been invaluable. Every experience, no matter how small, adds to my skill set and confidence. My Strategy: Dedicating time to online courses and self-study has helped me become proficient, allowing me to use these tools effectively in real projects. My Strategy: Focusing on clear communication, reliability, and a proactive attitude has helped me build trust and demonstrate my capabilities. Managing Uncertainty: Projects often come with unexpected changes and uncertainties.
