I don’t write so frequently but I would like to share with you guys a nice interview to Sara Mari-Strasser. We have many times issues with our lunch, we don’t know where to go, what to eat or sometimes no time to spend in a restaurant. If you had issues with some of that points, I think you should read about Schrankerl and why can be a good choice for you https://lnkd.in/dX4sCXpe

Oktoberfest runs through October 6, and you don’t have to be Bavarian to observe this time-honored tradition. Last year Germans consumed almost 1.7 million gallons of beer at the Munich festival, but restaurants in the United States celebrate in their own fashion. A few last-minute ideas you can try: 🍺 Develop a beer promotion. Create specials around a German beer if you serve one. If not, promote a brand that needs a little love, enticing your guests to try something new. 🇩🇪 For non-beer drinkers, try other options, like a German wine, or a German-inspired food item (Schnitzel, Frankfurter, Bratwurst, Pretzels, etc.). ↩️ Create bounce-back specials for returning guests. (For example, spend a minimum amount on one Oktoberfest item and receive a complimentary beer or wine when you return before the end of October.) Hope this inspires some Oktoberfest revenue uptick at your restaurant. Prost! #RestaurantMarketing #RestaurantCampaigns #BounceBackCampaigns #Oktoberfest

✨️Designer Tip: Avoid storing wine bottles above the fridge! 🍷 Placing them there exposes them to heat fluctuations, which can negatively affect the quality of your wine. Instead, opt for a dedicated wine rack or cooler in a cool, dark area to preserve those delicious flavors. Cheers to keeping your wine collection in top condition! 🥂 #DesignerTip #WineStorage #InteriorDesign"

For the next few weeks, I'll be looking at a few characteristics of sake, starting with one of the ones that makes it different from wine and beer.⠀⠀⠀ 🍶⠀⠀⠀ Sake is often compared to wine, and when you're starting out with sake it can be a useful comparison. But there are differences, such as dryness - wines reach a level of dryness that sake mostly can't. ⠀⠀⠀ 🍶⠀⠀⠀ Another is acidity, where sake again loses out to wine again - or does it? ⠀⠀⠀ 🍶⠀⠀⠀ And is there a way that sake could compete with the acidity in wine?⠀⠀⠀

The sparkling wine category offers a fascinating journey through centuries of tradition, innovation, and cultural heritage resulting in vastly different wines to suit every taste. Here, Lanchester Wines’ James Dainty explains more 🍷 🍾 Champagne Champagne is perhaps the most famous sparkling wine, a category of exceptional products, crafted with generations of skill and love which creates a level of excellence that consumers trust and covet. 🥂 English Sparkling Wine English sparkling wine’s popularity is on the rise, fuelled by quality improvements, growing recognition and rising prestige. 🍾 Prosecco The rise and rise of Prosecco has been meteoric, which is even more astounding considering only the Glera grape is permitted in its production and the Prosecco wine region is only 20000 hectares. 🥂 Sparkling Reds Sparkling reds can create a point of difference on a wine list. Usually created with lighter red grapes which work extremely well when chilled making them great for summer. 🍾 Cava Cava comes in different styles ranging from dry to sweet, with varying levels of sweetness and is known for its crisp acidity, fruity flavours and a wide range of aromas including citrus, apple, floral and nutty notes.
