Paul Wilson, a Jacksonville real-estate agent, recently spoke with WJXT- News4Jax to discuss his experience with painful bunions and the procedure that allowed him to return to the Wolfson Children’s Challenge, an ultramarathon that he established 15 years ago and was forced to step back from due to pain caused by a #bunion deformity. Standing on the sidelines not able to run, Paul knew he had to find a solution to his bunion pain. Relentless consistency develops muscle memory and accuracy. This doesn’t happen overnight. I could (and hope to!) write a book about her story of determination and resiliance. She has dedicated hours and hours to training and rose to the top of her league before moving from Ontario…and then a major injury. Determiniation is her superpower, on and off the field! She is still recovering from knee surgery this season; a torn ACL last year that severely thwarted her hopes and plans for University Soccer. Things still don’t quite feel “normal”’like they used to. Shes holding out hope that this isn’t the end of her soccer dreams! She’ll regain her strength. She hasn’t stopped with the consistency to rebuild the muscle memory and increase her accuracy. Do the tasks that will help you achieve the goals. Put in the time, the effort, the sweat and determination to not stop. Relentless consistency wins.
