Can the Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) process accommodate wide lanes of asphalt pavement? Yes, it can. Can you add cement powder to the Cold In-Place Recycling process? Yes, you can. Check out this video of one of our CIR projects in MN that required our team to recycle 14'-0" lane widths and add 0.5% Type 1L cement powder to the cold mix. The CIR industry has worked hard to develop techniques like this to accommodate just about every pavement width and/or cold mix additive requirement.
