AMBITIOUS GROWTH PLANS // “This investment further cements our history of over 110 years in Teesside with a capex spend that will bring about significantly enhanced production capabilities alongside cutting-edge technology.” Middlesbrough-based manufacturer Lionweld Kennedy Group has announced a £1.5 million investment in its site and machinery, including installing the UK’s first shearing machine for steel grating which is expected to increase production capacity of its Safegrid gratings by over 40 per cent. The recent investment further cements the firm’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, with the new multipurpose building also being a carbon neutral building. So successful has the business been in this regard that it has already hit its long-term net zero target for 2040 in three years, being recently recognised at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards as Energy and Sustainability Award for the North East, Yorkshire and Humber. At Winvic, we are dedicated to reducing embodied carbon emissions across our construction projects, and we're thrilled to share our achievements during #NetZeroWeek! ⭐ Aligning with the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC)'s framework, we've proudly completed 16 Net Zero In Construction projects, totalling 40 individual units. All completed units also targeted BREEAM 'Excellent' rating and EPC 'A' rating. Since 2021 Winvic's in-house Sustainability Team have carried out 129 Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) over 66 projects, guiding our decisions on procurement and construction practices to maximise embodied carbon reductions. Our collaborative approach is at the core of everything we do, by working closely with project teams, clients, and our Green Supply Chain partners, we continue to integrate sustainable practices throughout every project’s lifecycle to drive down emissions as we transition towards a Net Zero future. #netzero #sustainability #doingitright #doingitrightforasustainablefuture

Parkway Corporate (ASX:PWN): Strategic Growth and Transition to Profitability We started the week with the release of our March 2024 Quarterly Activities Report. Another solid quarter of strategic execution, progress and growth. All our business units continue to perform strongly and together with the recent acquisition of Tankweld, our revenues are also up strongly, our capabilities have expanded significantly, and we even managed to squeeze out a modest profit, whilst we continue to execute. We are also making cracking progress in our tech business, which is very exciting . . . and a powerful lever for us to generate significant long term value. The first meeting of partners within the project "Reindustrialization based on the principle 'brownfield is better than greenfield' - Brownfield is Better than Greenfield - ReInd-BBG" took place in Ljubljana on February 6th and 7th.
