The latest report from McKinsey & Company examines the reality of the trajectory of the #EnergyTransition in the United States and Europe.   ➡ It leaves us with one clear thought – legislators, governments and corporations urgently need to accelerate the deployment of cost-effective, efficient and scalable #decarbonisation technologies to reach #NetZero goals.      A wide range of technologies that will be crucial for us, such as nuclear power, carbon capture, wind and energy storage, require construction. So, it makes sense to do this in the most carbon-effective way possible. Ecocem was honoured to participate in a working luncheon of pioneer members of NetworkIrlande, La Chambre de Commerce et de l'Industrie Franco-Irlandaise with guest of honour An Taoiseach, Simon Harris, at the Irish Embassy in Paris this week. Ecocem’s Director of Public Affairs and Sustainability, Susan McGarry, attended the meeting which hosted a rich discussion focused on the growing trade and business relations between Ireland and France. The United States is making strides in #decarbonisation by encouraging innovation in the cement industry, a hard-to-abate sector.
