Open RAN ecosystem and semiconductors @DT

The first highlight on day 2 of TCF 2024 is just over. We were happy to welcome Caroline Gabriel from Analysys Mason on stage, being inspired and energized while learning about the next decade of Telco. The picture sketched during the presentation is quite clear. Telcos failed to fulfill their self-set ambitions in technical and economic improvements over the recent years. Highly anticipated modernizations on cloudification or disaggregation take more time than expected, but are key to the transformation of telco production to enable future business models and efficiency gains. Operators take different routes positioning themselves for upcoming challenges and opportunities and we understand quite well now what the option space of Deutsche Telekom is.   This is just the beginning of another great day of Telekom Campus Fair. To all my DT colleagues who could not make it yesterday, you can join us the full day today at Landgrabenweg.   Arash Ashouriha  Saima Ansari  Jasmina Boumaza  Aleksandar Chekorov  Andreana Ciuffreda  Carlos Fernandes  Elena Cvetkovska  Tihomir Dragaš  Basma Driss  Pablo Brito Daniel Ezekiel  Anyue Gao  Christine Böhmer Jens P. Interesting to see that Operators have not fulfilled their potential. To work with the same juggernaut and expect radical change is a fallacy. Inmanta sets new benchmarks by successfully deployed service orchestration in weeks and months. The only risk is we might succeed where others fail!
