Stats gleaned from IntelyCare’s “Trends in #Nursing 2024” report paint a grim picture of the toll the ongoing #NursingShortage is taking. So, how do we bring America’s most trusted profession back from the brink? “Nearly 74% of RNs surveyed were hopeful that they could spend more time talking to patients in 2024. To do so, however, they will need help. When queried about job satisfaction, additional staffing was prioritized over higher salary by respondents.” #VirtualNursing is helping to create a new path forward. Under the #HybridCare model, remote RNs field common tasks and offer support to patients and novice nurses virtually, freeing up bedside staff for hands-on care. This divide-and-conquer approach to nursing reduces burnout and supports reduced variation in care through dedicated workflow support and process standardization.
