Let’s End The Week Right Week 8 Transformation Challenge Scripture Reading Matthew 16:26: “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” Reflection In our verse, Jesus is warning us to check and choose what we value carefully. The world says we need to take care of #1, that is, ourselves is we want to survive. But Jesus taught that servanthood, serving others as He demonstrated time and again. He also said, “So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20:16) If we want to prosper in this life with Heaven as our end, we need to choose Jesus and His will and way for our lives. Prayer and Contemplation The challenge is to take this word, meditate upon it, and listen to God in what He is saying for your life through it. 1. What things are you placing your values in? 2. Has the possession you are striving for brought peace, or have they been disappointing?

THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY MAY 30, 2024 LIVING PEACEABLY IN HOLINESS A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14 NIV From our anchor text above one could sense the expectations of Heaven from the individual Christian, and a clarion call to boot. For us to live in peace with others and attain holiness. 1). We must purge ourselves of anything displeasing to God. 2). Be holy in all our ways, and separated from the prevalent evil world system. 3). Be filled with God's love, kindness and compassion. It is not easy to fully subscribe to the virtues above, but with the enablement of the Holy Spirit, not only would we have them but we will freely share these virtues with others. Dare to get into the loop? PRAYER BULLETS: Dear heavenly Father, guide me with Your Holy Spirit and closely draw me to Yourself every day with the enablement of peace and holiness. THE PILGRIMS GUIDE TUESDAY JUNE 11, 2024 BREAKING YOUR LIMITATIONS A WORD FROM THE WORD: ".. Whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." We are in a spiritual war, a war that rages around us and within us. A battle against the evil trifecta – the world, the flesh, and the devil. These forces can be felt in our personal lives, our relationships, and in every aspect of society. But victory is possible! It is not God alone or us alone that brings victory; but rather God with us, in us, and through us that wins the battle. Because God is with us, we can face these enemies with courage, divinely enabled to stand strong and be victorious in spiritual conflict. November 3, 2023 - Exhortation Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." A place of rest is where God does His most significant work in you. If you are willing to learn how to rest, you will experience a depth of faith not known in a restless place. God gives you the power and authority to engage in greater exploits in His Kingdom from a place of rest. This rest is purposeful, ongoing, and sacred. This rest must become a lifestyle, a constant way of thinking and living -- resting from trying to fix yourself to please God and allowing Jesus to live His life through your Christ calling (Galatians 2:20). Rest reveals the God-solutions that a stressed and burned-out mind cannot perceive. Rest will be the place from which the next assignment in God's purpose for your life will be birthed. You enter this place of rest when you lay down your undisciplined ambition and your need to always have to produce -- to validate a lesser identity. You are being reset to align your life with a greater manifestation of God's Spirit as He invites you to co-labor with Him (1 Corinthians 3:9) in new ways to bear fruit that remains for the advancement of the Great Commission.
