As Car-Free Week comes to a close, how did it go? 🚗❌ Did the experience of navigating without a car change your thinking about transportation in your community? For many, this is a daily reality, and it’s clear that our car-centric infrastructure needs to evolve. If we each commit to just one car-free day a week, we could significantly reduce emissions and create more vibrant, connected communities. Let’s keep advocating for a transportation system that works for everyone! #CarFreeWeek #TMACC #InclusiveTransportation

Giving every Carolinian a strong foundation takes a village (or in this case, a solid team of 'crawlologists'). Depending on the scope of work being done to your home, you may see a few of our trucks roll up to help out, but we do whatever it takes to get the job done quickly, effectively, and correctly. #foundationrepairexperts #charlottenc #raleighnc #foundationrepairnc

As a mom of a teen who is soon to start driver’s ed, this year's AAA WA Distracted Driving Awareness Month campaign is particularly relevant. If you have a teen in your life, keep reading! We've partnered with local college student, Ishika Binu, and her organization the Safe Drive Club, to reach teens. As you might imagine, teens are significantly impacted by distracted driving. As we were developing this campaign, I was surprised to learn that the leading cause of distraction for teens behind the wheel is NOT their phones; it's their friends! That said, let's be clear: we all know phones and driving do not mix either. Through our partnership with Ishika, we hope to be able to reach more people about the importance of mitigating distractions and being mindful in the car. Putting the phone away, asking passengers to play DJ, never reaching for that backpack or purse until safely stopped. What other tips to you have to drive distraction free? #DDAM #AAAWA #Community #SafeMobilityForAll
In recognition of Distracted Driving Awareness Month, we’re teaming up with Bellevue native and Safe Drive Club founder Ishika Binu to promote distraction-free driving throughout Washington communities, especially those most at risk, like younger drivers. Ishika established the Safe Drive Club as an online platform to motivate drivers to commit to distraction-free driving after she was involved in a driving accident. Our partnership aims to harness the power of Ishika's personal journey and advocacy to make Washington roads safer by engaging and educating teens and young adults about the risks and consequences of inattentive driving. Together, we’re working to transform driving culture to make attentive and responsible driving the norm and expectation. To take the DriveSafe Pledge, please visit https://lnkd.in/gvuvR9Zj

𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐥: 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 🚍🚆🚋 We recently conducted a poll among Imagry employees about their use of #publictransportation, in collaboration with UITP, and the results are in! A significant portion of our team, 57.1%, currently uses public transport while the remaining 42.9% do not. ✔️ Those who do use public transportation primarily rely on buses, trains, light rail, BRT, and subway, with a mix of daily and weekly usage. The main reasons cited for choosing public transport include convenience, cost-effectiveness, environmental sustainability, and avoiding traffic congestion. Positive experiences shared by our employees highlight the comfort and affordability of public transport, especially for trips to the airport, or for working while on-the-go. ❌ On the flip side, those who don't use public transportation often find it time-consuming and prefer paying a premium for faster travel. Additionally, there are calls for 24/7 service and full subsidies to make public transport more appealing. 🦾 This is where Imagry | Autonomous Driving's cutting-edge technology can make a significant impact. By optimizing routes and reducing travel time, our autonomous vehicles can make #publictransport faster and more efficient. Increased availability and reliability of service, even during off-peak hours, can address the needs of our employees who require more flexibility. Furthermore, the cost savings from autonomous operations can potentially reduce fares, making public transport even more cost-effective. With consistent and comfortable rides, our technology can enhance the overall travel experience for everyone. 𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮! As part of our commitment to sustainable mobility and supporting initiatives like the "I Vote Public Transport" campaign by UITP, we're conducting a quick, voluntary poll to understand our followers' use of public transportation. Your participation is highly appreciated! 📋 Click here to respond: https://lnkd.in/dhKXP5XS
