I thought Metallica was a talented female artist on stage.
My husband asked me to go their concert this weekend, I said ok and then I Google what I'd agreed to! 😅 This unexpected twist did take me on an unforgettable journey.
This got me thinking—how often do surprises in our careers lead to incredible adventures?
🌟 Like stumbling upon a project that uncovers hidden talents,
🌟 or a sudden challenge that sparks growth.
🌟 Remember that time when a last-minute presentation turned into a game-changing opportunity?
🌟 Or when a chance conversation led to a collaboration that transformed your perspective?
I wonder if I googled Metallica 1st, I may not have agreed to go!
**So, here's the big question :** How do you embrace surprises?
Do you welcome them with an open mind, ready to seize new adventures?
Or do you find yourself resisting change?
Share your insights below, and let's celebrate those unexpected moments that shape our career paths. 🚀✨ #UnexpectedAdventures#CareerGrowth"

It's hard to believe this is the last full week of the year. As things, hopefully, slow down, I hope you all have a chance to connect with friends and loved ones and get some time to recharge your batteries for a new year.
But, before we get there we have one more week of Nice Guy and Gal awards. So, please take this chance to nominate a nice person in your life.
This Friday, I’ll share nominations for people who have been identified as nice guys (and gals).
And, I have so many people I want to recognize, I'm going to use the rest of the week to thank the people who've been important to me over the past 12 months (and in some cases, much, much longer).
If you want to nominate someone, just shoot me a private message by 5:00 EDT on Thursday.
There are only 3 requirements:
1) you have to be connected to the person you nominate
2) you can only nominate one person per week
3) you can’t nominate yourself 😀
If you want to provide a brief reason for your selection, that’s great, but it’s not a requirement.
Let’s recognize people who make a difference simply by being nice.
Have a great day, everyone.
