Today is National Indigenous People’s Day and Thrive is shining a light on Indigenous entrepreneurs and the organizations that support and invest in them. We have some serious leaders here in Canada: Raven Indigenous Capital Partners was the first Indigenous-led fund and continues to be an example of ‘what’s possible’. They recently launched the Raven Indigenous Outcomes Funds advancing community-driven outcomes contracts, a financing innovation EntrepreNorth started by seeing gaps in support for northern Indigenous entrepreneurs and have innovated with programming, technology and approaches to raising and deploying capital Metis Settlement Impact Fund is a (new to us) fund focusing on economic reconciliation and sustainability. And although not Canadian, Agnetha Jaime Gloshay from Common Future has been at the last three Canadian Impact Investing gatherings, and what they are doing to build an equitable economy is so very grounded and so very inspiring Being an entrepreneur is hard and uncertain work. The organizations above make the work a little easier by creating community, demonstrating care and walking alongside those who step into the journey... and supporting the broader impact investing eco-system. Thank you for your leadership #economicreconciliation

CEO turned Commercial Real Estate Investor. Create Streams of Wealth & Investments You Can Count On (without any of the headaches or liabilities!)
Ever Wondered What Life After the Corporate World Looks Like? 😲 After 27 years in the corporate world, my wife and I sought a change. Utah became our new home, trading our W2 careers for real estate ventures. Along this journey, we met an inspiring individual Stéphane Akoki from Côte d'Ivoire, Africa, whose childhood in a war-torn society fueled his passion for change. This encounter sparked the birth of Elevate Our initiative to empower lives through education and economic opportunities. It's not just about passive income; it's about making a real impact. I've seen the struggle up close, the hunger for change. It resonated deeply with my own desire to leave a legacy beyond profits. For my fellow corporate executives, imagine turning your investments into a force for good, where every dollar contributes to uplifting communities. Elevate's success stories are more than numbers; they're about real people achieving 25%+ income growth, a testament to the power of strategic investing with a purpose. Ever thought about how your investments could change lives? 🤔 Connect if you're curious about blending profit with purpose. #impactinvesting #realestate #globalchange #socialentrepreneurship
