LACK OF COMMITMENT TO ADDRESSING AUSTRALIA’S ROAD TRAUMA CRISIS
The Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) is deeply concerned by the alarming rise in road fatalities, with 1,300 lives lost in 2024—the highest trauma rates since 2012.

ACRS calls for urgent investment in Local Government capacity to implement proven safety measures and urges the Federal Government to prioritise road safety as a national imperative.
