What does it take to be part of the DHS Cybersecurity Service? When asked what makes a candidate stand out, Hiring Managers at @CISA and the DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer said: 🗹 “Individuals with a genuine passion for cybersecurity. This is often reflected in their willingness to go beyond the classroom or job requirements—whether through personal projects, contributions to the cybersecurity community, or staying ahead of the curve with emerging technologies.” 🗹 “Positive attitude. Most skills can be learned if the effort is there.” 🗹 “Hands on keyboard experience over a degree is valued. Knowing something in theory is wonderful but applying those tactics and performing is what is needed.” 🗹 “The ability to communicate clearly and concisely.” 🗹 “Being a team player who can collaborate efficiently with others – especially in high-pressure situations.” To learn more about what it takes to join the #DHSCybersecurityService, visit https://lnkd.in/eTK4RgmA. #DHSCareers #DHSisHiring #CybersecurityCareerWeek
