Yesterday we had the pleasure of presenting the Capitol Region Military Alliance of Virginia (CaRMA-VA) to the Board of Directors of ChamberRVA at the invitation of participating leader Brian Anderson. It was bonus to visit Sesame Street (the office of PBS station) and hear from Jayme Swain about their stunning new office slated to open in 2026.

HAPPY MONDAY/HAPPY ARMED FORCES DAY!!!!! On this day in 1950, President Harry S. Truman established Armed Forces Day. Peering through literature reviews gives you a different view of those who served. When you FOCUS, you find that these leaders cared about the military. The theme of the first Armed Forces Day was “Teamed for Defense,” and it had a three-fold mission: 1. To celebrate and recognize all Americans serving in uniform, as well as those who had served before. 2. To bring citizens closer to their military by hosting base open houses and public displays of new military technology. 3. To promote the unity of the military services established in the National Security Act of 1947. #A1CLorenzoRWilson

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF JD VANCE has a COMBAT ACTION RIBBON? If so, I will update my post: TRUMPERS - Why would you conflate the term WAR with COMBAT, and let's add deployment and deployed for the Marine Public Relations dude. And when you say "saw combat," what does that mean? Dropping bombs or launching missiles from a ship at sea or clearing houses one at a time. What's the technical term? DOOR KICKERS... Trumpers and JD, if you keep splitting hairs, you will become as bald as the ex-President! Let's unpack this. First, "war" and "combat" are not synonymous, just like "truth" and "Trump's Twitter feed." War is... READ MORE HERE 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 https://lnkd.in/eBnf2cPv ☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️

This week, the Supreme Court made a decision that changed the relationship between the military and civilian leadership. In particular, it highlighted a dubious role that SEAL Team Six might play in the increasingly bitter partisan political wars our nation continues to experience. The Supreme Court ruled that the Commander in Chief faces no possible criminal liability for issuing an illegal order. The military assumes all the risk once that order is issued. It is the proverbial rock and a hard place for everyone in the Executive branch’s chain of command, from the Secretary of Defense to the E-1. This article examines the Trump v. the United States immunity decision and explores the profound ramifications for the military. https://lnkd.in/ebpEzhPB

I will suggest you best ways to check wars, before it erupts. a) keep a check on perceived enemies armed forces families- what are they doing, how are they making money, where are they spending, are their children intelligent or not, are their wives educated or not, are they hereditary armed forces families. Also are the armed forces personnel educated or not. Or is he or she a button push person for the political leaders. Do these Armed forces personal and their families have tie-up with internal police force which manages the civilians, if so who are the internal network of police force tied-up with armed forces of the country. I mean by Armed forces, The Army, The Airforce, The Navy and The Military space of the country.

Interesting to read.
This election is historic for yet another reason: it’s the first time two GWOT veterans - both enlisted, to boot - have been on a presidential ticket running against each other. They couldn’t be more opposite, politically speaking, but my hope is Senator Vance and Governor Walz create a precedent of sticking to substantive differences rather than attacking each other’s military service. With <1% of the U.S. population serving in our Armed Forces in a given year and ~5% of the total population being veterans, service should be commended.
