Without it, life on Earth would face severe consequences. 🌍A Brief History of the Ozone Layer: The ozone layer was discovered in the 1980s to be thinning due to human-made chemicals such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). This led to the creation of the Montreal Protocol in 1987, a landmark agreement aimed at phasing out substances that deplete the ozone layer. Thanks to global cooperation, the ozone layer is on the path to recovery. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 is "Montreal Protocol: Advancing Climate Action".
