The Government of Yukon participated in a large emergency preparedness exercise, Operation NANOOK-TATIGIIT from 23 to 26 October. This was an interagency exercise designed to test and improve territorial emergency preparedness and coordination across all levels of government. https://hubs.li/Q0276GxY0 Calian's approach to training development is to put the training objectives at the centre, and develop scenarios and select the appropriate technology to deliver the training. We then develop exercise traffic that is realistic and challenging to the training audience to deliver maximum value. During the after-action review phase, we review what happened, and identify strengths and recommend areas for improvement. Calian has been using this approach to delivering training for the Canadian Army for 28 years, for combat and domestic operations training. Can't believe it has already been a year Last Aug, Soldiers from Fort Bliss and Fort Carson participated in an operational assessment of the U.S. Army's Synthetic Training Environment (STE) at Ft. Hood now Ft. Cavazos. The assessment involved the use of the Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer (RVCT) and the Intelligent Suite (STE-IS) to create immersive, location-agile training scenarios that blend virtual and live elements, offering Soldiers an advanced training experience while providing critical feedback to enhance the system's realism and capabilities. #flysight #flytx #AugumentedReality in education has proved to be a game-changer, allowing everyone from elementary school children to highly skilled pilots, military aviation specialists, and helicopter crews to advance and learn new skills. A study by #PwC discovered that learners who trained with AR were four times more focused than those using standard e-learning techniques. They also learned up to four times faster than those using traditional learning methods, including book and classroom teaching. The level of engagement was also markedly higher, allowing for a faster degree of absorption even when tackling more complex subjects.
