Capital Our plans for the site, which already has commercial consent, are to create a mixed-use development made up of shared-living homes, affordable homes, new public realm, ground floor retail provision, and a health hub. We're looking forward to working closely with Southwark Council and the local community to create a place that is in line with their requirements, and adds to this emerging neighbourhood. The redevelopment of Sydney's Blackwattle Bay has reached a significant milestone, with Lendlease, Mirvac, and Stockland shortlisted to deliver the 3.6-hectare site currently occupied by the Sydney Fish Market. These urban renewal specialists have been invited to submit proposals in early 2025, with the preferred developer expected to be selected later in the year. The project aims to deliver: ✅ Up to 1,100 new homes within walking distance of Sydney’s CBD and future Pyrmont Metro Station. ✅ A new waterfront promenade and expanded public spaces. ✅ Completion of the 15-kilometre continuous harbourside walk from Woolloomooloo to Rozelle Bay. ✅ A new 1.1-hectare park at Bank Street.
