Genome mapping is basically finding the addresses of genes on chromosomes. It's like labeling all the important places on a long journey. 🧬 There are two ways to do this: 1) Genetic mapping: This tracks how genes are inherited together, like seeing which landmarks are often passed down together on a family road trip. 2) Physical mapping: This directly measures the DNA to order gene locations, like physically measuring distances between landmarks on a map. Genome maps are super useful for understanding genes, diseases, and even breeding better plants and animals. With faster sequencing tech, genome mapping is becoming a powerful tool for many fields! Isn’t it fascinating how #persuasion works...? It even makes #Genetics #Science seem like #Philosophy! When you deliver a Genetic-based talk on the #Self (e.g. #Genes, #Epigenetics, Synapses, Proteins), and you mention #will (‘free will’), many think it is a talk on #Philosophy. And (expectedly) this varies from profession to profession – some professions pretty much missing all the #science.  --When you deliver the same, however, but now drop the words 'will'/'free will', this changes completely - and I have had the opportunity to explore this several times. ---And now imagine the impact #persuasion has on how we view other groups (our truths about other groups)! - especially considering that we cannot see things in absolute terms, but as they related to other things. #FakeTruths #FreeWill #persuasion #genetics #BehaviouralGenetics #Genomics #Self #SelfDevelopment
