Huff Energy Solutions is thrilled to announce that we are designing the new PowerShingle structure and will be constructing the first phase of The Farm at the Alameda County Fairgrounds & Event Center. This phase includes converting an existing building into a state-of-the-art open-air barn, which will house livestock in a modern animal science center featuring a milking parlor, hatchery, veterinary facility, and more. Our innovative PowerShingle structure, with frameless bifacial solar panels and an American-made steel framework, will provide shade and shelter for animals and guests. The Farm will be an invaluable educational resource, offering students and the surrounding communities firsthand experiences at the intersection of agriculture and technology. This innovative farm will also feature a petting pen and a larger corral, allowing students to interact with animals and learn about farming, food, and agricultural careers in a hands-on, engaging way.
