Following on to the topic of male contraception and going beyond the aspect of increasing interest in healthcare equality: what else drives men to take a more active role in contraception? At least in the US, behavioral changes observed appear to be driven by regulatory change since the overturn of Roe vs. Wade in 2022. This makes dual contraception methods more frequent and could be a key reason for a growing number of vasectomies as well. Also outside the US we observe a trend towards sharing contraception responsibility between genders.
