To Talent Acquisition specialists and HR recruiters, I understand that when you post a position you must sometimes have an influx of applicants. Some may be competitive and others totally unqualified. Regardless, do you routinely get back to them? If they’re not the candidate you’re looking for, is there an automated email system you use to let them know you’re pursuing other candidates, thanks for your time? It can be extremely frustrating for a candidate to have hope but continuously get no replies, despite several follow ups. Is this a topic in the world of talent acquisition?
