Salesperson Job Description (male or female) A salesperson’s primary responsibility is to interact with customers and ensure they make purchases. Below are the key tasks and duties typically associated with this role: Requirements: A graduate in any field with sales experience, preferably in the automobile/bikes industry. Experience in sales of electric scooters/bikes will be a bonus. Probation period: 3 months Salary: 30k – 40k+Comission based on experience Market Research and Sales Execution: Compile customer and market information to: Plan and execute effective sales strategies. Determine prospective customers by: Networking with colleagues in the industry. Leveraging industry contacts. Discuss with managers on issues such as: Price variations. Product delivery. Specifications. Discuss special promotions with managers and provide advice on upcoming product design and development. Customer Interaction & Aftersales support: Attend to prospective customers in showroom and through phone & social media channels to: Answer their questions. Give a presentation on the product’s specifications.. Resolve any issues they may have regarding the company’s products. Solicit new orders. Maintain and develop friendly relationships with existing customers by: Regularly responding and following up with them through meetings, phone calls, and emails. Logistics and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with procurement management to ensure timely delivery of existing orders. Ensure that products displayed in the showroom meet quality standards. Document all order information and sales, sending copies to the manager at the end of each workday. Maintain list of customers and identification and contact details. Performance Review: Periodically review sales achievements to improve future performance. Strive to better understand customer requirements, enabling informed purchasing decisions.
