Celebrating a Century of Life: A Legacy of Connection Reaching 100 years is an incredible milestone in itself. But reaching 100 years surrounded by those whose lives you've touched? That's the true measure of a life well-lived. #LifeGoals Western society often sends the message that aging diminishes our value, pushing our eldest members to the margins. In doing so, we overlook the vast history, wisdom, and perspective our elders carry. By setting aside the eldest among us, we lose a vision of the life we all hope to create. This is a powerful reminder of why #RepresentationMatters—because, as the saying goes, "You can’t be what you can’t see." Imagine if we each had frequent interactions with centenarians. Perhaps the daily pressures of modern life would feel a bit lighter, and we’d focus more on the life we want MOST rather than the life we want NOW. Ask yourself: “Will this matter when I’m 100?” As a new mom, this question feels especially poignant. It keeps the main thing ... the MAIN THING. It challenges me to build a life that endures through the decades—a life that values deep, genuine connections. I hope to leave a legacy that truly matters. #Legacy #Centenarians #AgingWithPurpose #LifelongConnections #Inspiration #MeaningfulLife #Family #Wisdom #MomsJourney #GrowthMindset
This past weekend we celebrated my Great Aunt’s 100th birthday. She is the second one in our family to reach the milestone with her mom living to 103. It was a blessing to have my son, the youngest member of the family, meet her. Seeing all my family celebrate her reminded me of the blue zones and how family is essential to a long life. The phrase ‘family is everything’ hits even more now as a father.

The meaning of people with IQ > EQ intelligence But EQ is 4 times more than reasoning, guys IQ= 1 person can have a normal IQ in today's society, people have EQ= 1 large organization with a lot of experience and knowledge, created and controlled by a person with EQ, creating many people and creating a large organization with a vision and bringing value to society x 4 times a strong pillar like a house needs 4 pillars and a national assembly needs 4 pillars and a family needs 4 people (parents and 2 children) and 2 children are 4 pillars to create a family BQ: The spirit conquers the race and continues to create like that according to reincarnation For example, men are EQ because they can create 4 pillars, many children to create a race So pls tell some gov agencies crt house n people personnel don’t under estimate director person n don’t read the book by the cover

Wow! Explains A LOT! Stopped me in my tracks. Thanks Holly Morris & Alex Partridge for sheding light on something thats been niggling me for years! For as long as I can remember I've questioned how long things last (degrees, course, etc). ⏳️ Or once the dopamine rush of a new creative idea has worn off, how long will it be before I hit the crash? 💥 What happens if this idea takes off, I go full throttle, create a whirlwind and then lose the drive & let people down? 😵💫 When I was barely conscious of this, I would seek out people who could enable me to get the idea across the line, or who could deliver on a idea (& therefore less flakey than me). Ive come to realise theres a couple of issues with this; 1) my dreams & goals are my dreams & goals. Yes, leverage other people's skills to realise your dreams BUT its a fine line between blending skills and expecting others to do it for you. And, I suspect I used the excuse to seek out 'help' as a deliberate attempt to avoid the uncomfortableness of having to do it myself. Subconsciously sabotaging the idea to stay 'safe'. 2) The idea that I can't follow through or that I have an untrainable skill gap is misguided self awareness. Someone, somewhere, at some point in time, may have said something which I chose to internalise as 'I cant'. I looked for evidence to back this up by replaying unhelpful scenarios & tagged those memories with the label of failure, none finisher, needs help etc etc It's a fine line between knowing your abilities so you can find complimenting skills and letting those lacking skills shame you.... As part of my mindfulness practice I remind myself everyday of my gifts of creativity and my thirst for inquiry. I'm a creator and my medium for delivery is self expression. Managing ADHD shame & over thinking is a life long practice. My brain feels like a sandstorm of ideas. I just can't follow up on all of them. But, whats the rush....?? Sure, i risk some ideas falling by the wayside but, my purpose is to keep creating and keep expressing. And, what was meant to be will follow with perfect timing. ♾️😍
Perfectly explained Holly Morris ❤️

To father figures around the world, stand tall and proud as the children you raise seek to make this world a better place for their generations. In 1986, my father co authored a study developing a four item structured self report scale. This article reviews the psychometric properties and tests the concurrent and predictive validity of a structured four-item self-reported adherence measure which can be easily integrated into the medical visit. Results showed the scale to demonstrate both concurrent and predictive validity with regard to blood pressure control at 2 years and 5 years, respectively. This tool became known as the Morisky Green Levine or MGL /MAQ and is the most highly cited article in medication adherence in the world, even to this day being used in standard practice in the largest institutions in the world. https://lnkd.in/g8C_ATZR
At ADHERENCE, we wish everyone a joyful and heartfelt Father’s Day. Today, we celebrate the incredible fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who inspire us with their dedication, strength, and love. We honor their unwavering commitment to their families and their invaluable contributions to our communities. May your day be filled with joy, cherished moments, and appreciation for all that you do. Happy Father’s Day!

Best place to celebrate a birthday!! All jokes aside, Kwik Trip seriously is the greatest gas station around! The Kwik Trip mission is to treat others as they would like to be treated and putting the consumer at such a high priority has made the chain thrive to the noteriety it has now. Given the lengthy process and supply chain of getting gas all the way to your local station from the ground of which it came, profit margins on gas are low. So low, that gas station owners can really only make their money from the goods inside the building they sell. “So what makes it so special?” Great question reader, and it is because Kwik Trip has taken out the complex supply chain of its products inside the store and sources a lot of them directly from a Kwik Trip owned kitchen. This doesn’t only make their goods delicious, it makes them extremely affordable too! We eat tasty treats, Kwik Trip still makes it’s money. This can be contained by a tight-knit geographical leash which keeps Kwik Trip mainly in Wisconsin. That turns the focus onto a narrow number of areas within the business such as food quality, cleanliness, and customer service which gave Kwik Trip the #1 spot of gas stations ranked by USA Today. In my 22 years on this Earth, I have never gone into a Kwik Trip and had a negative experience with an employee. That confidence probably comes from child care, healthcare, scholarships, 40% profit sharing, and recognition programs among many other benefits available to their staff. Regardless of what Kwik Trip does or does not do great, there is plenty that we can learn as businesspeople about how putting the consumer first instead of analyzing their consumer habits and manipulating them can really help a company thrive. The welcoming atmosphere at Kwik Trip is no joke and paired with Midwest hospitality it becomes unbeatable, so I get why this guy would want his birthday to be there!
What a great way to celebrate a birthday! Happy Birthday, Cooper. 😊 🎉

We have the option in life to find joy, magic, and even glee in the most simple things… …it is always there, we just need to choose it… …and when we do find the purity and perfection in the mundane, we can share it with others… Do we find that when we pause - even momentarily - see what is good - recall what we are grateful for - that our lives become far more enriched and everything looks a bit brighter?

I celebrate day of the dead ☠️ Dia De Los Muertos and here’s why: And it is not just because I have many friends from Latin America … 1) honoring legacy and the past: remembering those that came before us, is something I do in Life and at work! 2) letting go of the old: Like the ritual of saying good bye to our ancestors, we also need to say farewell to outdated methods, processes and models when looking to transform..! 3) celebrating resilience: By recognising the life lived by our loved ones, we often reflect on challenges overcome. I know that anyone in a business development or change management role will resonate with this! Do any of the Dia De Los Muertos themes ring true for you? I personally love having a time / day dedicated each year that challenges me to remember the points above. I want to improve as an individual and we learn from those who have passed and we learn from reflection. Comment below if you celebrate Halloween or Day of The Dead 💀 and tell if it is because you have children or is it because it means something to you?
