Classwise object counting using Ultralytics YOLOv8 💙 💡 Now you can count the object for the classes you want, rather than counting for all classes that the model detects :) ✅ Classwise object counting identifies and counts objects in images or videos by class (e.g., people, cars, animals, bikes). 🔗 Learn more ➡ https://lnkd.in/d-4Zk2Q5 #computervision #objectdetection #codesnippet #yolov9 #computervisionapplications

Four space filling Peano curves can be concatenated to create a single closed curve. The entire image contains 18*18=324 squares. Each direction of the tube turns to each other direction, giving 4*3=12 combinations. Because the tessellation is a checkerboard of “black” and “white” squares, a total of 24 square images are input. That's why the plumber (made by CoPilot) runs on opposite sites on the straight pipes. #mcescher #escherart #escher #mathart #digitalart #peano #curve #path #fractal #copilot #Tissellator

My very first object detection project to detect aquarium creatures The dataset is readily available in Roboflow, The dataset is trained by Faster R-CNN model with a MobileNetV3-Large FPN backbone which is faster and efficient model for mobile level deployment, my motive is to try my very first object detection and the next level to use custom model with modification for high accuracy also deploy in a website for real time detection.

Transforming autonomously drone-captured videos into 3D-models is indeed one of the unique applications. But wait, there’s more to it! Here’s how Bobby Ouyang, Co-founder and CEO of SkyeBrowse explains the role of heatmaps and slope maps in providing a comprehensive overview of the site structure. Day 10/28 "becoming a roboticist" with Dr. John Vial: Today, after my short holidays, I designed a gripper in FreeCAD, generated the package code there, and visualized it using Rviz. There is a default error in the code generated automatically by FreeCAD for the ROS package, i.e., the "Fixed Frame" within the "Global Options" is set to "Link". Hence, it has to be manually assigned to the desired fixed frame for your design. The gripper comprises two links and a prismatic joint.

Happy (damp/drizzly) Thursday people, allow me to present today's #seaview (it is there, but you can't see it due to mist!) and two innovative 💡 solutions. Firstly, the awesome #leicageosystems #ap20autopole which is a revelation. Secondly, a used disc cutter to keep the prism dry! #nuplansurveysltd #landsurveying #surveylife #familybusiness #fatherandson #problemsolving

Intelligent Wall-Following and Obstacle Avoidance System for TurtleBot 3 (Simulation Using ROS & Gazebo) This project involves programming a TurtleBot 3 to autonomously navigate its environment by following wall edges and avoiding obstacles. The robot Fuzzy Logic system to achieve this. This combination of Edge fallowing and obstacle avoidance techniques allows the TurtleBot 3 to smoothly and intelligently navigate its surroundings, making it an effective tool for exploration and mapping tasks.

Inspired by Piotr Skalski speed estimation tutorial on Roboflow I'm creating a project/tutorial/system that detects and track objects in the airport area using YOLOv8/v9 and Supervision. Initially, I considered using a bird's eye perspective to identify and monitor the positions of people, aircraft, and pushback tractors. However, I was not able to find good footage with a suitable perspective. 😢 So, I decided to start with a simplified version focused on estimating aircraft speed during takeoff. The project currently has three main classes. The next step in the project is to develop a class for positioning objects onto a reference image (aerodrome chart, satellite imagery). While still under development, you can follow the repository (link below) and share your thoughts! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/d-RT4gie
