Someone who detects clues related to space, to movement, to players and to the ball.… Every training session is a chance to get better at staying connected to the game… …connected to tactical responsibilities …connected to the relationship between space, the ball, team mates, and opposition …connected to personal objectives …connected to the evolving challenges as problems emerge and dissolve Every training sessions is a chance for players to get better at staying connected to the game… …through external distractions…noise that doesn’t matter …through internal distractions…thoughts and sensations that aren’t relevant Every training session is a chance for players to get better at staying connected to the game…to be a better detective of the vital clues that show themselves amidst a mountain of information… ********************** Two… Confidence in football isn't something that's owned forever… It must be patiently worked on everyday. Footballers must strive to practice passing with confidence, moving with confidence, challenging with confidence...even holding themselves with confidence. Every activity, in every session, every day…and in every game…these are your opportunities to grow your confidence… So do so… Aim to execute every action every second in a confident manner…confident passes, confident runs, confident movement, confident challenges… Show yourself your own brand of personal confidence…emblazon evidence of confident play on every muscle… It’s an every activity and every session and every game thing!

Contrast training in football and its effect on the performance of students in this field of education Many factors determine success in football. But the most important of these are the physical and physiological variables that determine the performance of football players. Meeting these physical and physiological needs is also based on training methods prepared following branch-specific neural, muscular, and metabolic parameters. In football, for some reason, sufficient time cannot be allocated to the biomotor properties that need to be developed. Different methods are put forward to eliminate the obstacles that occur. One of these methods, which was discussed in the educational system of this field, was the idea of combining different strength training. Although there are different designs on these training in the literature, the most commonly studied methods are complex and contrast training. Complex and contrast training is based on the theory of post-activation potentiation, although there are minor differences between them. These methods generally include plyometric exercise followed by a severe strength exercise. For this reason, contrast and complex training are considered by some researchers as similar training methods, while studies that claim otherwise are also found in the literature. Discussions continue in terms of training protocols and training terms which are used. These methods are investigated by experts with many different protocols when the literature is examined. Confusion in the literature also affects studies on football. Complex and contrast training protocols in football that are used to define the purpose of this study, to examine the effect on player performance, on methods to deal with developments and discussions with existing methods to evaluate the positive and negative aspects to provide a critical perspective on sensible recommendations. https://lnkd.in/d_5d95-V

TOP 5 highlights in 2023: ⚽ Accomplished UEFA A + Valmentajan ammattitutkinto 👨🎓 ⚽ All the teams I was part of in VJS did a great season: U17 4th in B-SM, U15 3rd in Eteläliiga, U14 promotion to Eteläliiga 🥉 thanks to committed players and coaches 👏 ⚽ Individual development: couple of talent players in Finland’s national team, and many more in Aluejoukkue 🇫🇮 ⚽ U19 boys national team camp. Part of coaching staff and saw many promising players 🇫🇮 ⚽ Huuhkajaturnaus. It was nice to coach and see the best players of 09 age group, and follow their progression in the future 👍 TOP 5 development targets: ⚽ Good is not enough👊 Raising the bar even (and especially) in the most simplest things. ⚽ Do and try things. Less planning, more action. Afterwards you can chance things ⚽ Still too many injuries. Balancing on the limit of maximizing the work and development is not easy, but we should be better at making the training more individualized, progressive and not too monotonous. ⚽ Evaluate and reflect🤔 Finding time to look back is usually neglected ⚽ Time management – prioritize. 20/80 rule: Often 20% of the work gives 80% of the results I met lot of players and coaches and that gave me a wider perspective of football and life. Great insight Dave Kline! Speed is the antidote to sunk cost. Going from idea to implementation is a superpower. Undergrad definitely teaches us speed and fast learning. New subjects every 6 months :)

When I first graduated from the #Glendon MCI, AIIC membership seemed like a noble but distant aim. Like an amateur figure skater at a local club watching Moir and Virtue win Olympic gold. Now that I crossed to the other side, I realize that the undertaking doesn’t have to be as formidable as I made it out to be. Just like any self-respecting process, there are several steps to becoming a member, and it's manageable once broken down. The most daunting aspect for me (and so I hear, many others) was the sponsorship requirement. We don’t have control over it, it felt awkward to ask, and the process seemed shrouded in mystery. Below are 8 steps I followed to ask sponsors to vouch for me. Not knowing exactly what to do at the time, I relied on what I learned from business school, and basic principles of respect and honesty. Gaining knowledge in myself and the organization grounded me. And it worked. In summary, don't take sponsors for granted, but also don’t put them on a pedestal. Remember to not take anything personal. There could be a multitude of reasons and dynamics behind someone’s decision to sponsor you or not, and not one member represents the organization as a whole. To me, joining AIIC was both a gift and a responsibility. I benefitted from the legitimacy of the brand, but also accepted carrying forward our shared values. I became part of something bigger than myself: a community of like-minded colleagues who volunteer their time and energy to defend our common interests. Hope this helps some of you who are considering applying to AIIC, or really any association or job. If you are a sponsor, please add what I might have missed. So, as an ex-egg chaser, thought I'd pen these reasons here (with some bracketed flagrant business synergies): Consistent performance (trust the process?): England has shown consistent improvement in recent tournaments, reaching the final and demonstrating their ability to compete at the highest level. Young talent (recruitment program?): The team boasts a wealth of young, talented players who have already made significant contributions. Players like Saka bring lightning energy to the squad, while others like Palmer / Atkins have shown their inevitable ability. Experienced core (leadership team?): England has a solid foundation of experienced players who have been through multiple tournaments together. This blend of youth and experience provides a strong base for future success. Tactical flexibility (strategy / adaptability): Manager Southgate has demonstrated his ability to adapt tactics and formations to suit different opponents and situations, which bodes well for future competitions. Strong team spirit (culture?): The England squad has shown a remarkable sense of unity and camaraderie, which has been evident in their performances and off-field interactions. This team spirit is crucial for success in international tournaments. Improved goalkeeping (client retention / crisis management?): Jordan Pickford has consistently delivered strong performances, making crucial saves that have kept England in important matches. Attacking depth (strategic opportunities/revenue generation?)): With players like Saka showing consistency and Bellingham demonstrating goal-making abilities, England has a variety of attacking options to call upon. National unity (Mission/Purpose?): The team's performances have united the nation, creating a positive atmosphere around English football that can inspire future generations of players and fans alike. Learning from experiences (too obvious): Each tournament provides valuable experience for both players and coaching staff. The lessons learned from the Euro 2024 final can be applied to future competitions, potentially leading to even better results. International footballing respect (brand?): England's recent performances have earned them respect on the international stage, positioning them as genuine contenders in future tournaments. While the loss in the Euro 2024 final is undoubtedly disappointing, these factors provide ample reasons for England fans to remain optimistic about the team's future prospects in international soccer.
