At Iberchem, we believe that raising awareness is the first step toward preventing and successfully treating a disease. Therefore, our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Department (SHEQ) often carries out activities to ensure the well-being of our employees. On the occasion of International Prostate Cancer Day, we joined hands with the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer de Murcia. Together, we hosted an informative session with oncologist Francisco Javier Belmonte, focusing on the prevention and early detection of prostate cancer. In this short interview, Ramon Rodríguez, perfumer at Iberchem, and Alfonso Albacete Caravaca, SHEQ Technician, shared their insights and experiences about this activity. July marks Sarcoma Awareness Month, a time to spotlight the unique challenges faced by those battling sarcoma, particularly within underprivileged communities where access to adequate healthcare remains a critical issue. As we advocate for better resources and support, let's remember the power of collective vigilance and voice. Let our collective voice raise awareness on Sarcoma and Bone Cancer. 𝑺𝒆𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑺𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 — this principle isn't just for public safety; it applies to healthcare too. Every observation, every conversation can lead to early detection and intervention, which are crucial in the fight against bone cancer. In this month of awareness, let's raise our voices for those who might otherwise be overlooked. Share stories, amplify calls for change, and support initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access for all. Every action counts, and every word can light a candle in the dark. Let's not just pass by; let's pause, speak up, and act. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those facing sarcoma. #SarcomaAwarenessMonth #HealthcareEquity #SeeSomethingSaySomething #CancerAwareness #HospitalSuccess
