In one of our recent Board of Directors sessions, we broke out into our usual rooms (Setup, Sales, and Scale), and I found myself in the Sales Room, where we tackle all things sales-related. We discuss everything from increasing conversion rates and refining sales strategies to structuring commissions to motivate salespeople. A few weeks ago, a client shared her sales process and offer with me, and it became clear that they were undercharging for their services. Like criminally so. I suggested introducing a new service line or upsell product at a higher price point. She was skeptical at first, but in the first day of offering this new service, she sold to all three prospects she pitched to. Now, not only will this change allow the company to generate more revenue, but it will also enable them to deliver a more valuable and strategic service to their clients, leading to better retention and satisfaction. This is a massive win-win for the business. And while this success story is fantastic, it's not uncommon. We encounter businesses undervaluing their services and undercharging all the time. So let me ask you: When was the last time you reassessed your pricing strategy? It might be time to revisit this to ensure you're not leaving money—and value—on the table.

Humble doesn't begin to describe how I feel about the opportunity to join the team at Dolfin When I started my career in sales compensation, I simply wanted to break into tech sales and learn how to sell software. But after being in the space, I quickly realized how many people are suffering because of inadequate sales compensation processes. From salespeople with no visibility into their commission + errors, to rev ops teams wasting hours doing manual configuration, calculations, and data entry, to leadership missing revenue goals due to systems that can't deliver.
