🎥 [Press Alert] France 3 Pays de la Loire (France) recently showcased a video report featuring NSI Mobile Water Solutions ’ mobile wastewater system at the Pornic wastewater treatment plant. This modular plug-and-play solution, developed in collaboration with SAUR, is boosting the site's wastewater treatment capabilities after the winter's heavy rainfall. With the capacity to process 3,000m³ of wastewater daily, it has substantially increased the plant's maximum treatment capacity to 11,500m³ per day. This innovative mobile station is scheduled to remain on site for the next 3 years for a total cost of €4.2 million.   💧 Today is the #World #Water #Day 👉 Did you know the overall water #recycling rate at our Youngstown, Ohio production hub is 99%?  💧 Indeed, over 3-million gallons of rainwater are captured for reuse annually, which equals a 9-foot-deep swimming pool the size of a football field! At Vallourec, water management is not confined to measuring intake or monitoring the quantity and quality of discharges: a specific action plan for reducing intake is led by the sites’ environmental managers and its operational implementation is monitored quarterly during Group Environment Committee meetings.   💧 In 2019, the Group made a public commitment to reduce water intake by 10% per metric ton processed in 2025 compared with 2017 for all activities in the steel and tubes segment.
