National Ready Mixed Concrete Association member Ozinga has become an industry leader in #sustainability, #innovation and #community since 1928. Starting from a small coal and coke yard in Evergreen, Illinois, today the company meets the needs of builders all throughout Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and even South Florida. Built on the pride of its employees, Ozinga continues to follow its principles in building a better future for its coworkers, communities, customers, and country. We had the privilege to speak directly with President Paul Ozinga as well as Vice President of Innovation and Market Development Ryan Cialdella about the company’s rich history, including its strides in #sustainableconcrete, #communityservice and #safety efforts. In partnership with #NRMCA’s Build With Strength program, Ozinga became the first to pour low-carbon concrete for a new Will County Habitat for Humanity #ICF duplex in Elwood, Illinois. We thank Logix Brands Ltd., AMC Foam Technologies Inc., BASF, Andersen Concrete Pumping, American Concrete Pumping Association and Insulating Concrete Form Manufacturers Association for helping make the completion of this project possible! Concrete Delivery Professional Jorge Vieyra also shares his significant experience working with the company delivering #concrete, wishing he had chosen this path much sooner. We thank Ozinga for the opportunity to create this spotlight, and eagerly look forward to featuring the work of all our member companies! We look forward to hearing from you! #BuildWithStrength #Chicago #Illinois #HabitatForHumanity #ICFhomes #SustainableConcrete #BuildingHomes #HumanityHomes #WillCounty #Elwood #LowCarbon
