Happy #WorldEnergyEfficiencyDay!💡📊 Intellectual property is a critical component of the modern economy, particularly in the energy sector, where innovation and efficiency are vital. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in promoting energy efficiency and the development of renewable energy sources. The protection and leveraging IP rights are essential for SMEs to grow and compete in the market. Phoenix BioPower is just one example of a company that has used intellectual property in its innovation and business strategy. Phoenix BioPower found a renewable solution to replace coal with zero carbon emission producing power from biomass twice as efficiently as traditional steam cycle technologies. How your business and intellectual property helps the environment matters! 🔸 Check out the Phoenix BioPower history: https://lnkd.in/eCUcmbFp

𝗣𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: At HoSt Bio-Energy Systems North America, pioneering technological advancements are at the heart of our operations. CEO Robert Lems discusses the breakthrough technologies that excite him the most. Q: What breakthrough technologies in biogas are you most excited about, and how is HoSt planning to integrate these into your operations? Robert Lems: I'm particularly excited about carbon capture and CO2 reuse. The future lies in not just being carbon neutral but going carbon negative. Q: With the evolving landscape of the renewable energy sector, how is HoSt adapting its business model to stay at the forefront of the industry? Robert Lems: HoSt has always been an early adopter of new technology. We started building digesters almost 40 years ago and we were the first to implement high-selective membranes for biogas upgrading on a large scale. Now, we are leading in carbon capture and CO2 reuse and are already exploring future value propositions like bio-methanol and renewable hydrogen.
