You ask, we answer 📽️ From designing plants, to improving operations, #JMengineers work every day to find the world-changing solutions that are contributing towards solving the planet's biggest environmental challenges. - What will make this process more efficient? - How do we make this safer? No matter the question, our engineers find the answers. 🙌 And when we ask them the really difficult questions, like: - Who would you invite to a dinner party? - What would you be if you weren't an engineer? They still find the answers. 👀 Interested in joining our team of engineers? Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eg7z_HxP #catalysingnetzero

Scaling clean hydrogen: policy implementation key to unlocking demand 🚀🔓 Fresh insights from the Hydrogen Council's Hydrogen: Closing the Cost Gap report reveal how existing policies, if effectively implemented, could unlock a significant amount of hydrogen demand across the EU, US, and East Asia by 2030. Read the full report to learn more about the practical solutions to unlocking clean hydrogen demand. #ClosingTheCostGap #CleanHydrogen
📢 Clean hydrogen business cases are emerging—but policy implementation is key. Launched today, the Hydrogen Council’s 𝘏𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘯: 𝘊𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘎𝘢𝘱 report, developed with McKinsey & Company, highlights how existing policies, if effectively implemented, could unlock ~8 Mt p.a. of clean hydrogen demand across the EU, US, and East Asia by 2030. ✅ Targeted measures including the transposition of Renewable Energy Directive (RED III), the rollout of Japan’s Contracts for Difference (CfD) mechanism and South Korea’s Clean Hydrogen Portfolio Standard (CHPS), and the implementation of the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) can drive market uptake. ✅ Expanding CCS networks, hydrogen refueling infrastructure, and lowering clean hydrogen production costs in these regions could unlock an additional ~13 Mt p.a. in existing sectors like refining and ammonia, and emerging use cases such as trucking. ✅ Unlocking demand in maritime, aviation, and other hard-to-abate sectors with few alternatives depends on continued action in the near-term to bridge cost gap and enable infrastructure development. 👉 Read the full report to learn more about the practical solutions to unlocking clean hydrogen demand: https://lnkd.in/ePXbrYC9 #ClosingTheCostGap #CleanHydrogen

How can we make our products and services more sustainable? We use life cycle assessments (LCAs) to find out 🌍 LCAs provide a structured approach to understanding the environmental impact of products and services by looking at key stages across their entire life span. For us, this means looking at material sourcing, all the way through to transportation. For JM and many businesses, LCAs are invaluable in setting clear benchmarks for improvement and embedding greater sustainability into our products. ♻️ Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ek3-_Usk

Ahead of International Women’s Day tomorrow, we sat down with women across JM to discuss their experiences in typically male-dominated industries. 👩🔬👩💻👷♀️ The United Nations #IWD2025 theme, “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”, strongly resonates with JM’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. We believe in empowering the next generation as catalysts for lasting change, and we are dedicated to creating opportunities for women to lead and succeed, for example, through our Elevating Women in Leadership programme. 🌟 #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInSTEM #ForAllWomenAndGirls
