Announcing the #EITWater – a new EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), designed to tackle water challenges. Together with the Allwaters Consortium we are mobilizing the Danish water ecosystem to develop groundbreaking solutions that drive innovation and sustainability. The Allwaters Consortium is initiated by Grundfos Foundation | PDJF, Aarhus University, and Water Valley Denmark, and already, 50+ international partners have signed up to be part of the Consortia. 🌎 Shaping the Future of Water Management: Insights from the Roundtable Water Management in Industries💧 🇺🇾🤝🇩🇪Together with experts from Germany and Uruguay, we discussed critical challenges and opportunities in #watermanagement, focusing on sustainable solutions for businesses and industries. 💧During the session, I had the honor of presenting on behalf of German Water Partnership and FiW e. V. – Forschungsinstitut für Wasserwirtschaft und Klimazukunft an der RWTH Aachen providing an overview of the network and the institute and highlighting key strategies such as: 🔹 The #reuse of municipal wastewater, 🔹 Effective industrial wastewater management, as essential tools for drought resilience and resource optimization. 👍The roundtable agenda also featured impactful contributions: ✅ Mauro De la Vega (Alianza Uruguaya por el Agua) shared progress and challenges on specific to Uruguay. ✅ A diverse audience bringing together stakeholders from government institutions, industry, and academia 🌎The event underscored the power of collaboration in addressing water management challenges at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation. 💡 Let’s continue these important conversations and turn insights into action. With Europe facing increasing water challenges, the need to ensure water resilience has become more and more pressing. Strengthening #Europe´s #WaterResilience requires improved water governance.
