Is a culture of recognition easy to create? How do you do it so it's impactful? I believe that creating a culture of recognition and appreciation across a business is not difficult as long as it is done in a thoughtful and purposeful way that stays true to leadership values. At its heart, recognition is simple: we all want our efforts to be seen and to feel our contribution matters. The art is in getting recognition right:     ⭐ Praise should be offered when and where it’s due, in a meaningful way ⭐ It has to be personal: it's obvious when the person giving praise knows what is being celebrated and why ⭐ The source of the praise matters - be it CEO, manager or colleague – each has its moment And the secret ingredient - when giving the recognition you should be truly genuine. In our own celebration of talent, we took time to honour the individuals who embody the #PepsiLiptonWay at our first Pepsi Lipton global town hall of 2024. The “People’s Choice” award winners were recognised by their peers as a shining example of what our business is all about - leading with purpose, putting the customer first, embracing agility, taking initiative and ownership, and empowering others.  Congratulations to all the nominees and winners! Someone, somewhere, in a Havas leadership meeting approved putting profit over, well, everything and in doing so, threw every value B Corp stands for out of the window. Spending all that time, effort and commitment to attain certification - as well as the promise you're making - comes to nothing when you're prepared to put it in the bin for a retainer. Not a great day for our industry as this message impacts us all reputationally and sends the wrong message about putting profit over everything else Need to do better... I was at Anheuser-Busch for years, and the debacle that occurred with Bud Light would have not taken place, most likely, with the previous leadership. We researched things carefully before jumping. Either it was a failure to understand the risks, or the advice was ignored. Both are preventable errors. But the advisor's own credibility should be considered too. Sometimes, the presentation of the advice hurts the perception of the quality of the advice because of the credibility of the counselor who delivers it. A rookie with no depth of experience just isn't going to get listened to on a serious matter. #brandengagement
