Virtual Reality in recruitment is an innovative approach that leverages immersive technology to enhance various stages of the hiring process. Here are several ways VR is being utilized in recruitment: 1. Virtual Job Fairs: Companies can host virtual job fairs where candidates can explore interactive virtual environments to learn about the company culture,,available positions, and engage with recruiters in real time. 2. Immersive Company Tours: VR allows candidates to take virtual tours of company offices, facilities, and workspaces, providing a realistic sense of the work environment and culture. 3. Skills Assessment: VR simulations can be used to assess candidates' technical skills and jobrelated competencies by immersing them in realistic work scenarios. For example, IT candidates could troubleshoot virtual network issues or demonstrate coding proficiency in a VR environment. 4. Interviews and Assessment Centers: Employers can conduct virtual interviews and assessment centers using VR platforms, providing a more immersive and interactive experience for both candidates and interviewers. This can help assess candidates' communication skills, problem solving abilities, and cultural fit. 5. Onboarding and Training: VR can be used to create immersive onboarding experiences for new hires, allowing them to familiarize themselves with company policies, procedures, and systems in a simulated environment. VR training modules can also be developed to provide handson training for specific job roles or tasks. #itservices #itstaffing #virtualreality #vr #technology

We've all seen the power of XR in marketing, training, and engineering, but HR shouldn't be left behind! Augmented Reality (AR) can be a game-changer for hiring and onboarding, injecting a tech-forward vibe into your processes. Take Unilever, for example! They're leveraging web AR to offer students access to a virtual career fair with interactive booths and a dynamic experience. Ditch the static presentations and videos. AR offers a dynamic, interactive experience that boosts engagement and retention. Imagine new hires: 🔥Learning the ropes with interactive 3D models of your workspace or equipment. 🔥Practicing procedures in a safe, virtual environment before hitting the real world. 🔥Meeting colleagues through AR avatars, fostering connections from day one. AR isn't just flashy – it's proven to be more efficient than traditional methods. Studies show increased knowledge retention and faster task completion. #HRtech #AR #innovation #thefutureofwork #digitaltransformation #hr

Senior Recruiter at CD Projekt Red | Top Recruiting Voice | Worldwide Voice in Gaming 🎮 | All thoughts + opinions are my own 🤘
With loads of fantastic questions coming through, I decided to do a double drop of 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 🎮 this week! Many of you are wondering how I transitioned my background in recruiting into the games industry. And understandably, many of you are looking for tips on getting into PlayStation (or a large AAA studio/publisher). So here’s the tea 🍵 Big companies like PlayStation have such a robust intern program that much of the entry-level and junior roles are hired through their internships. That meant that I needed to already have the skills and experience going into the role vs. the flexibility of a smaller company or studio that is willing to train someone up. I was also willing to take a step back in title, understanding that I had never recruited for a large games company, or for games in general. As such, I accepted a 4-month contract as a University Recruiter. Honestly though, I was perfect for that job. Why? Because I had 3 years’ experience in higher ed and 3 years' experience as an agency recruiter. All that was left was to prove myself and prove myself I did. If you’re a recruiter looking to get into the games side, my suggestion would be to have a solid understanding of the space (industry, candidates, AND programs/systems/tools) before you start applying. Research what’s going on in today’s market, who are the players, what games are they making and who are they hiring? Get a basic understanding of the programs and tools being used so you can have solid conversations with candidates. It makes a huge difference when you can nerd out with your candidates about their day-to-day work. It’ll also ensure your success when qualifying candidates for roles and building trust and respect with your hiring teams. Thank you Mason Whittle, Mayank Chauhan, Thomas Carhuff, and Balajhi Shanmugam Selvakumar for your questions! And keep ‘em coming! https://lnkd.in/gxBeZXm6 📸If you’re a grunge-goth like me then you know damn-well what happened 30 years ago this month. #Forever27🤘 #VideoGames #GameDevJobs #Recruiter #Recruiter #Careers #RepresentationMatters #AskAlexAnything _________________________________________________________________________________ 👽REMINDER: I’m actively looking for my next exciting opportunity in #Recruiting and #TalentAcquisition leadership! #OpenToWork

I'm not getting any interviews! I hear this from 20+ people every day. Here’s one reason why: maybe your resume just isn’t strong enough? And I don’t mean the format—I’m sure you’ve got that dialed in. I’m talking about experience. Maybe it’s not there yet. So what do you do? 🔨 Build experience. If you’re in tech, build a killer side project. If you’re in marketing, make UGC content and post it on TikTok. If you’re in UI/UX, re-design popular websites and put together a sleek portfolio. Then—post it! Build in public, make a personal brand and show off your progress on Twitter, LinkedIn, wherever your people are. Let the world know how awesome you are! This strategy helped me land my Tesla internship → Intern Guys. Bonus? That side project turned into a startup :) #career #jobsearch #interviews #buildinpublic #resume #internships #InternGuys
