🌟 Celebrating World Health Day: #MyHealthMyRight! On this World Health Day, we are proud to share the impactful strides made by the Indo German Programme on Universal Health Coverage (IGUHC) in bolstering the National Health Authority's Ayushman Bharat #PMJAY scheme. Our concerted efforts have brought about transformative changes, empowering communities and strengthening healthcare access across India. 🔹 Empowering Female Health Workers: In November 2022, we initiated a successful pilot project across five aspirational districts of Uttar Pradesh. Our aim was to enhance awareness and amplify the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Through extensive training sessions we: ♀ Equipped over 500 women frontline workers with comprehensive training. Implemented innovative communication strategies like street plays and roadshows, reaching villages far and wide. 📢 Empowered ASHA workers with training modules for door-to-door campaigns. 🤝 Embraced a multi-stakeholder approach for holistic impact. The pilot project culminated in 100% Ayushman Card generation among eligible beneficiaries, showcasing the pivotal role of frontline workers in driving positive change within their communities. 🔹 Boosting State Healthcare in Jammu and Kashmir: Recognising the challenges faced by District Implementation Units (DIUs) in Jammu and Kashmir, we collaborated with the State Health Agency to develop the 'DIU Survey Assessment and Tools Hub Interface – SATHI App'. This digital solution revolutionises data collection and reporting processes, offering: 🗨 A user-friendly interface with advanced functionalities. ✅ Rigorous field testing across Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring resilience and effectiveness. 👍 Successful soft launch and official unveiling during Arogya Manthan 2023. The DIU SATHI App has emerged as a transformative tool, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency for DIUs across the region. The positive feedback from district teams underscores its effectiveness, promising a brighter future for healthcare delivery in Jammu and Kashmir.
