An Advocate, Politician and a Writer committed to inspiring meaningful change, a strong believer in Integral Humanism.
In the past decade, India has been focused on empowering its youth to become a driving force for global growth, with significant emphasis on education, skill development, research, and employment. The efforts in these areas are now yielding tangible results. Recently, the Times Higher Education rankings highlighted India as the country with the most improvement in research quality. The number of Indian universities participating in global rankings has grown from 30 to over 100, while India's presence in the QS World University Rankings has increased by more than 300 percent. The nation is also witnessing a surge in patents and trademarks, reaching all-time highs, and has become a major hub for global research and development (R&D). With over 2,500 international companies establishing research centers in India, the country’s start-up ecosystem is expanding at an unprecedented rate, cementing India's position as a global R&D leader… PM Narendra Modi at #NDTVWorldSmmit

It's opposite to traditional advice of going to top colleges of India. Now, before you jump in comments section criticising me. Allow me to tell you. I am fully aware of what top colleges in India offer: + Vast Alumni Networks + Exposure to the world + Competent Fellows & more. But the sad truth is 99% of students won't get a chance to enter such great colleges 😔. Whenever I come across posts or videos singing the benefits of being at top colleges. It makes me feel bad about my current college, 😞 like I'm missing out on something. Which is True to some extent. Neither I nor any other person like me will get our hands on as many opportunities as you will. But that's totally fine🙂 I believe this tag of a top-tier college is just a badge showing thier competency and their ability to produce value in the economy.📊 & it's absence doesn't means they are not competent enough. what do you think students of non Elite colleges are competent enough ?

Ask, Believe, Receive! #BreakingUpdate What started as 'Call for Application' from #Ministry's LinkedIn handle and few news papers including The Economic Times in December last year, concluded in a reality on 9th of April, 2024 for me. Yesterday, I formally joined as Social Defense Fellow at Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GOI, in the Inaugral batch of Indian Administrative Fellowship, executed through PPP mode by National Institute of Social Defense and The/Nudge Institute. This unique & 1st of it's kind engagement at a central Ministry, will be my full time assignment for the next 18 Months. My parents blessed me yesterday at #Dr_Ambedkar_International_Centre, New Delhi, on my 1st day of the fellowship, as I started to continue adding profound #Purpose to my life at work. As my #Father stands there wearning his pride, with his long cherished deepest desire playing on my mind, to see his son participate in Public Policy & serve the country, nothing could have stopped me to leave my 8 figure salary to start my National Service tenure, to work on Project of National Importance for the next 18 Months. A #3Idiots movie moment for all 5 SDF's, demonstrating personification of our #Passion, to be selected from a pool of 840+ applications from across the country and going through a rigorous selection process as per attached press release given by Ministry in comments. Never I knew that my memorable succession at #Hella India Lighting Ltd., will lead to a #NationalService call so soon, gaining intense experience in between, launching of #NayeIndiaKiNayiBattery at Tata Green Batteries with prestigious TATA family. I owe to all my colleagues at work in Tata Green Batteries, FORVIA HELLA HELLA Aftermarket Bosch India and The Timken Company, in Industry bodies at ACMA India Automotive Skills Development Council - India FICCI Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) , MEPSC (Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council) Confederation of Indian Industry, my mentors, bosses, customers, suppliers, investors and boards, an immense debt of gratitude to fuel the passion in me, over last months & years, Thankyou! #Samaaj, #Sarkaar, #Bazaar (समाज, सरकार, बाजार)! Having worked in Bazaar for more than 26 years and in parallel worked on problems of Samaaj, both in #Skilling and #RoadSafety, it's time to contribute & gain experience in #Sarkaar. Thanks for all the blessings from so many of you. #PassionWithPurpose Note - I will continue my Industry Connect & contribution through select Non executive Board Memberships.

A few days back, #UPSC Results were declared. About 1100 candidates across the nation qualified to fill in vacancies in various Government Departments. There is another number though. A bigger yet ignored number that goes above a million. That's the number of candidates who filled the application. The number increases as we account for the number of candidates preparing since the last three, four, five or more years. What we see are the #winners . What we are shown are the winners. They surely are the winners. But, no one preparing for a #governmentjob in India is a loser. The #competition is hard, the chances of success are unbelievably small. Yet, there is something that keeps millions of candidates toiling untiringly with spirit as strong as steel. They haven’t qualified but they haven’t failed as well. It is said that a person is a winner until he has lost and they surely haven’t lost. Maybe the circumstances didn’t favour them. It’s even possible that the circumstances didn’t favour them because God might me conspiring to bring something better towards them. In any case, one cannot deny the fact that the years of serious preparation have inculcated in them the skills, knowledge, mindset and thinking that would make them qualify various #examinations of life.

India is known as a young nation because more than 55% of its population is under 25 years old. Around 66% of India's population, or more than 808 million people, are under 35 years old. This makes India the country with the world's largest youth population. India's large youth population is considered a major advantage for the country. The median age in India is 28 years. This means that India will have a demographic advantage until 2055, which is attractive for local and foreign investments. Youths are a source of creativity, innovation, and resilience. Its ripe time for India to make best use of this being the youngest nation of the world. The days are gone when academia was focused more on academic research and less on experiential learning. Now the time has come for Industry and Academia to get together and help each other. I spoke about my career journey, my association with PHUSE, and why its high time for industry and academia to come together in an interview with Mujeebuddin Shaik Here are some ways to bridge the gap between industry and academia. 1. Encourage and invite industry to connect with first year students when they join and not just focus on interaction of final year students as time is passed by the time a student reaches final year and there is not much which they can learn from industry in just few months. So better start interacting from first year in the college. 2. Create platforms where academia and industry can work together. 3. Provide supplementary education platforms to promote increased agility and learning aptitude. 4. Enable college students and entry-level candidates to acquire technical skills such as Salesforce, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and much more Please share your views on how can we bring industry and academia closer to each other. https://lnkd.in/exgaAMPj
