The wine aging process creates that ideal tasting experience. The cellar space where wine is given the time to age and develop is what enables those chemical reactions to occur. This is why vineyards and restaurants build their own custom wine storage cellars, creating those ideal conditions that allow wines to age gracefully. Here are some the basics to building your own wine cellar at home. https://lnkd.in/g52-nPS3

After opening a bottle of wine, it is recommended to consume it within 3-5 days to prevent it from spoiling. Refrigerated storage can prolong the lifespan of the wine, so white wines tend to maintain their quality for a longer period. #WineTips #WineStorage.

Preparing for CMS is taking a deep dive into the fascinating world of wines. While the course textbook is your guide for the expansive theory, tasting wines is also an integral part of the CMS curriculum. And we all know how difficult it would be to open new bottles of wine every time we sit down to practice our tasting. But thank the wine gods for @coravin, which allows you to pour as much as you want and impeccably preserves the rest of the bottle for your next pour. It definitely is an important part of our tasting toolkit, what about you?

3 Ways to Level Up Your Wine Game! Wine doesn’t have to be intimidating - wine is supposed to be fun! There are NO wrong answers when it comes to what wine you love, but let’s level up your game! 1. Try Something New: Do you have a wine that you already LOVE? Expand your wine horizons by going to a local wine shop and getting a recommendation! Let them know what you love and what your price point is, and they’ll have an amazing option for you! 2. Pair with your Favorite Foods: Try a sip of your favorite wine, then a bite of your favorite food, then a sip of wine. Did the food make the wine taste better or worse? Total game-changer! 3. Wine Tasting Events: Joining a wine-tasting group is one of the best ways to learn about wines. Connect with new friends, bond over shared wine interests, enjoy laughs, and learn new things! #Quickknowledgepost #wineclarity The terms we use for clarity are clear if the wine is clear. If it's slightly off-clear, we might say that the wine is dull. Less clear than that, we may use the term hazy or cloudy, for bright wine must be litter cleaner than simply clear. The word brilliant iis reserved for wines that truly stand out from others in their category.
