This type of instrument is driving innovation in medicine at a pace that we rarely see. Eliminating quality issues through consistent performance, ease of use, and highly accurate results, I'm sure that many people will see the benefit in their single-cell, whole-exome, and RNA sequencing applications. And I'd also like to point out the system's capabilities; 100M - 1.8B single-end reads per run?! WOW! Well done Illumina team!
