ASU Center for Science and the Imagination’s Post

CSI turned 10 years old last year! We're truly grateful for your support over this past decade of inspiring collective imagination for better futures. From envisioning solar tomorrows to celebrating cinematic visions of the future, to tethering together historical scholarship with futures thinking, providing resources to science educators and media artists, and creating narratives for climate action, musical futures, and human uses of artificial intelligence, we continue to collaborate with incredible people to consider who we are, where we're going, and how we might best navigate our way there. Our latest annual report showcases recent and ongoing work across four major research areas: the Future of Learning, Applied Imagination, Networks of Imagination, and Science & Imagination. It also features a timeline of notable CSI projects and milestones stretching back to our launch in 2012. As always, we'd like to thank all of our community members and partners: your insights, good cheer, and hope for the future animate all of the work we do. This report isn't just a retrospective—it's also an invitation. Send us a note or find us on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn and share your ideas for collaborations, or just let us know what's occupying your imagination lately.
