Cultural diversity for Dialogue and Development - SOUNDS GOOD - but without addressing the obstacles on path to strengthen the basis for diversity worldwide . OBSTACLES on our path to promote cultural diversity in actual fact --- It had been always dangerous to write or address straightaway in favor or against the institutionalised faith of humankind divided by several political or religious structure SOLUTION!!! We are cordially inviting all to join us to bridge up the gaps between all cultures, norms and mores without disgracing the faith of any humankind. In fact, it is impossible for any individual from any profession, organization, country, community or sect and even for the global leadership or world’s leading religious instructors to come forward with an ideology to bring all people together for cultural diversity and make this planet safe from nuclear proliferation, racism, radicalization and war within the context of the moral crisis in political ethics. Presently all around the world , cultural diversity in any form, is a political business to take advantage for building up a strategy for power to rule over each other. So we can see how the budgets to develop mass destructive weapons are increasing day by day, but there is no fund to develop the intellectual resources that would help the global leadership to bridge up the gaps of our inherited system of thought. Some ongoing peace process and unity for cultural diversity is embroiled in mazes of a specific political or religious definitions that mostly divides the people at grassroots level For the success of cultural diversity for Dialogue and development, global unity and peace, please share this message as far it is possible for all of us, to unite all humanity worldwide. Please join us for further clarification in detail. Thank you

As Fons Trompenaars would say: Culture represents a bunch of values, behaviours, and norms that you accumulate in a group in order to survive. Others would compare it to onion, or iceberg, and it's all true. But for me, culture represents a set of values and behaviour patterns, spread, lettered, and practiced among members of a group with the same or similar characteristics (geographical, ethnic, religious, family, business, educational...)and yet distinct in some or in whole with the set of values and behaviour patterns spread, lettered, and practiced among members in different groups with the same characteristics. If I had to compare culture with something, I would compare it to a rollercoaster ride. Different people and their reactions to the same event under the same conditions.

💜 🌐 Today we celebrate cultural diversity – not only the richness of the world’s cultures, but also the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development. Since 2001, the UN has recognized the need to “enhance the potential of culture as a means of achieving prosperity, sustainable development and global peaceful coexistence"; a need that YFU intercultural educational programs respond to. #intercultural #YouthForUnderstaning

It's also a time to think about why cultural diversity continues to matter in today’s world, and to discuss important issues affecting people of different cultures. The aim of the event is to reflect on the importance of cultural diversity and how it enriches society, both culturally and as a driver of global development. It also promotes dialogue between people of different cultures, so everyone can work together to achieve important goals including peace and sustainable development. Some of the issues the event was set up to tackle include: - recognising how cultural diversity enriches our society economically, intellectually and emotionally; - understanding that culture is key to social cohesion; - creating more sustainable global development; - promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms.
