Dear job seekers, I recently experienced a distressing incident during my job search journey that I feel compelled to share with you all. It concerns a fraudulent job interview for the role “Data Analyst”, and selection process purportedly conducted by individuals claiming to represent Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Inc. It all began innocently enough with a call from HR Niharika or HR Pranesh, who presented themselves as representatives of Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Inc. They conducted what appeared to be a legitimate interview, discussing job responsibilities, company culture, and compensation packages. However, as the interview progressed, they subtly insinuated that I lacked certain skills required for the position and suggested that I undergo a training program to remedy this deficiency. Alarmingly, they insisted that participation in this program was mandatory for employment at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Inc. To my shock, they then demanded a payment of ₹17,999 as a fee for this so-called training program. At the time, everything seemed to be in order, and I naively complied with their requests. However, upon further reflection and investigation, it became evident that I had fallen victim to a carefully orchestrated scam. This experience has left me deeply troubled and determined to prevent others from falling prey to similar deceitful practices. It is imperative that we remain vigilant and exercise caution when navigating the job market, especially in the face of increasingly sophisticated scams targeting unsuspecting job seekers. I urge you all to be wary of any unsolicited job offers or requests for payment during the hiring process. Research the companies thoroughly, verify the legitimacy of the job postings, and trust your instincts. Together, let us raise awareness and protect one another from falling victim to fraudulent schemes. If you encounter any suspicious activity or have any doubts about the legitimacy of a job offer, please do not hesitate to reach out for support and guidance. Dear All, those, especially Indians ,who are wishing to get recruited for different positions, please be careful of fraud recruiters. I have recently came across such a fraud recruitment agency named CAREERGROWNOW with 2 people named Avinash , Abhishek calling me , sending me realistic email of job interviews and demanding a meagre amount to do the registration with them. I was informed that once interview is over, they may need some more money for document verification and job facilitation. But on careful online search and asking for valid references, I found them to be fake and escaped.Spread the massage but I am sure such people will change their name and phone numbers while the modus operandi remains the same. So, please do your homework, Keep your eyes and mind open, before going ahead with such recruitment agencies . #FRAUDRECRUITERS #FRAUDCAREERGROWNOW
