At Incendium, we believe in fostering a culture of appreciation and growth. Over the last two years, we've planted over 10,000 trees with Ecologi | B Corp™ based on the number of sales meetings we've set for our clients. This year, we've embarked on a unique initiative: planting a tree every time a member of our team gives a shoutout to their coworker for doing something exemplary! Why Trees? 🌿 We're not just growing our skills; we're growing a greener tomorrow. Each tree will represent the positive impact of collaboration, recognition, and a commitment to sustainability. How It Works 🔄 Whenever a team member gets a shoutout, we translate that positive energy into a tangible action. One coworker shoutout equals one planted tree. It's a small gesture that creates a ripple effect of positivity while contributing to a healthier planet. Our Forest of Gratitude 🌳 As our team continues to grow, so does our virtual forest of gratitude. It's exciting to see how many trees we've planted together, symbolizing the strength of our teamwork and the support we provide one another. #Teamwork #Sustainability #EmployeeRecognition #GreenInitiative

Nature has the answers. “Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better.” – Albert Einstein. Most of my work at the keyboard and on the phone gets done in the conservatory. It’s a great environment to work in, naturally well lit with a view of the garden. Sometimes though, there is too much light. Yes, I know it’s a first world problem but when you are struggling to read things on a screen, too much reflective sunlight reduces productivity. I wrestled with over a few weeks to find a solution - maybe a few extra blinds on the windows or a plastic film on the glass would help. Hmm, I wasn’t sure. Fortunately, during my dithering, nature came to the rescue, in the form of a very fast-growing passion flower plant, which out of nowhere spread its light filtering foliage up and over my workspace. Job done with a natural and cost-effective (ie free) solution. Oh, and the flowers are beautiful too! Now, while on the subject of flowers, did you know that bees can help us with innovation? They might even have been the driver behind Google’s strategy of encouraging employees to spend 20% of their working time on new projects. Here’s a fascinating video from Rory Sutherland about bees and their waggle dance. https://lnkd.in/eAbR32pe “If you’re not failing every now and again, it’s a sign you’re not doing anything very innovative.” – Woody Allen. Thank you for reading. Enjoy your day! #Innovation

Story: In the lush forest, amidst towering trees and bustling wildlife, there stood a mighty holly tree. Its branches stretched high, providing shelter to birds and squirrels, while its glossy green leaves adorned its crown like a regal mantle. But the tranquility of the holly's existence was disrupted when herbivores began to feast upon its leaves. Determined to survive, the holly tapped into its genetic arsenal. As new leaves emerged, they bore sharp spikes, deterring the hungry mouths of the herbivores. Yet, there was a remarkable pattern to this defense mechanism. The upper leaves, basking in the sunlight and out of reach of the herbivores, remained smooth-edged and elegant. Meanwhile, the lower leaves, once devoured and now regenerated, sprouted with prickly defenses. Message: "Inspired by the resilience of the holly tree, let's cultivate a workplace culture that embraces adaptability and innovation. Just as the holly adjusts its traits to thrive in its environment, our employees can excel by embracing change and evolving to meet the demands of our dynamic business landscape. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities and grow stronger as a team."

🍀 Rethinking "Green with Envy" as "Green with Possibilities" 🍀 As the green holiday of St. Patrick's Day approaches, it got us thinking about the old saying "green with envy," but today, we challenge you to transform that old adage into "green with possibilities." In our journey through life and career, it's natural to glance sideways and compare our paths to those of others. We see peers reaching milestones or enjoying experiences that we long for, and sometimes, that tinge of envy creeps in. But here’s a thought: what if we viewed their successes not as reflections of our shortcomings but as beacons of inspiration? 🌱 Embrace Different Definitions of Success: Remember, success is not a one-size-fits-all. Your triumphs, goals, and dreams are uniquely yours. Someone else's peak might be your starting point, and that's okay. Each journey is distinct, and every step, regardless of pace or direction, is valid. 🎉 Celebrate Others, Spark Your Ascent: When we celebrate the achievements of others, we open ourselves to a realm of inspiration and learning. Let their strengths and victories light a fire of curiosity and ambition within you. Ask yourself, "What can their journey teach me?" or "How can I apply their strengths in my own path?" ✨ Turn Envy into Energy: Convert feelings of envy into a constructive force. Allow the success stories around you to fuel your motivation and creativity. Every individual's story contains lessons, strategies, and insights that can illuminate new paths and possibilities for your own narrative. So, let's shift our perspective. Let's be green with possibilities, nurturing a landscape rich with inspiration and personal growth. When we view life through this lens, we not only foster a supportive community but also unlock an abundance of opportunities for ourselves. We'd love to hear from you – how has someone else's journey inspired you recently? Share your stories of transformation and growth in the comments below. Together, we can turn envy into empowerment. #GreenWithPossibilities #Empowerment #PersonalGrowth #CommunitySupport #EmpowerX #FridayFeeling

Forget the Office Drama - Let's Talk 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀: #ValueSeries #1: 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆, 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 :)) Let's face it, work can be a jungle sometimes. Deadlines loom, emails pile up, and that "urgent" meeting could have easily been an email. But what if there was a secret weapon to navigate this corporate wilderness? Enter our core values – the guiding principles that keep us on the right path. This week, we're kicking off the #ValueSeries with a dynamic trio: 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆, 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆. These aren't just fancy words on a plaque (although, a cool plaque would be nice…). They're the real deal – the stuff that makes our company culture tick. But what do they really mean, and how do they translate into everyday actions? Imagine this: You're working on a critical project, and a brilliant (but slightly unethical) shortcut pops into your head. Here's where our values kick in. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀, "Hold on, that shortcut goes against everything we stand for." 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 you to discuss the challenge openly with your team, and 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 you're genuinely invested in finding the best solution, together. These values aren't just about what we do, they're about who we are. They create a work environment where trust thrives, collaboration flourishes, and innovation takes flight. Stay tuned for the next chapter of the #ValueSeries, where we'll explore another core value that makes us who we are! ** 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗹𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗬𝗢𝗨! Unlock the Power of Cauliflower Thinking! In the world of creativity and problem-solving, "cauliflower thinking" is a game-changer! It's all about breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable pieces—just like how cauliflower florets separate easily from the head. This approach allows you to tackle each segment individually, leading to innovative solutions and fresh ideas. Here’s how you can incorporate cauliflower thinking in your workflow: 1. Deconstruct problems: Instead of viewing a challenge as one massive hurdle, identify the smaller components that can be addressed individually. 2. Encourage collaboration: Involve your team in the process. Different perspectives can lead to unique solutions! 3. Iterate and improve: Tackle one piece at a time, iterate based on feedback, and watch as your solutions evolve and improve. 4. Stay Flexible: Be ready to pivot and adjust your thinking as you dissect the problem further. Remember, complex issues can often be solved by focusing on simpler, actionable tasks. So, next time you're faced with a challenge, think like a cauliflower! #CauliflowerThinking #ProblemSolving #CreativeThinking #Innovation #TeamWork #BusinessStrategies #MindsetMatters

Building a team is like planting a garden. I met a leader who faced challenges with her current team and was unsure about rebuilding in a new environment. However, after our meeting and conversation, she was inspired to believe that navigating towards a new beginning was the right path. Why does this matter? Because the right vibe fuels growth. Here's how a positive environment impacts success: - We support each other. Like gardeners watering plants, we nurture one another's growth. - In a negative place, growth wilts. Staying there keeps us stuck with empty soil. When a team shares the same energy and passion, they flourish together. Rebuilding means every team member can reach their full potential. It’s like starting from scratch with the perfect ingredients to thrive. Here are a few pointers on how we should approach rebuilding with the right mindset: - Cultivate an open, communicative environment where ideas can sprout freely. - Embrace change as an opportunity for growth and development. - Foster a culture of collaboration, where each member contributes to the success of the whole. So, ask yourself: are you in a garden that lets you grow? Or is it time to find fertile ground to bloom together? #MagicInTheAir #TeamSynergy #SharedDirection #PositiveVibes #GrowthMindset #TeamSupport #NurtureGrowth #AvoidNegativity #KeepGrowing #TeamPassion #Flourish #RebuildToThrive #FullPotential #OpenCommunication #IdeaSprout #EmbraceChange #GrowthOpportunity #CultureOfCollaboration #SuccessTogether #FindYourGarden #BloomTogether

Do you know who’s the GOAT at teamwork? (it is probably not the one you think!) Whether you look at the ocean, the rainforest, or even your backyard, nature is full of collaboration. And there is a name for this: "mutualism"! Mutualism is when different species work together, and everyone benefits. It’s like saying: “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours”. "You laugh at my bad jokes, and I'll endorse you on LinkedIn". …That sort of thing. You got it. Jokes aside, mutualism is fundamental for our survival. It plays a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance and supporting life on Earth. Remove just one link from this chain, and the whole ecosystem could fall apart. There are hundreds of examples of mutualism in nature. 🦥 🦒 See 4 examples in the carousel below That's why nature is the GOAT of teamwork! 🐟🌊 What's the most interesting mutualism story you've come across? #Biodiversity #sustainability #nature
