Dear hiring teams, When defining requirements for #job openings, please consider looking at crosscutting skills and software packages related to the position or profession. Specific requirements such as mastery of your in-house software are exaggerated. It's unrealistic to expect new candidates to have excellent mastery of your in-house packages. If there is an internal candidate who already meets the requirements, it would be preferable to consider them rather than putting other candidates through the stress of applying unnecessarily.

🛑 Did you know almost HALF of your new hires have regrets about accepting their new job within their very first week! 🤯 On top of that 70% of all new hires decide whether they're going to stay or start searching for a new job within their first month! Why is this important... Recruiting the right people is hard enough, and your onboarding process has a direct impact on how long these new hires stay or how fast they leave. If you're not sure if your onboarding is up to par, start with these little things that can completely change your new hire retention rate: ✅ Have all of the new hire's equipment ready to go on their first day: laptop, cell phone, work email, desk, etc ✅ Ensure they have all the right access to their laptops, emails, training tools, software, shared folders/passwords, etc ✅ Team introductions! Get them integrated with the team asap! Inviting new hires to lunch is a great way to get them settled in with their new team. ✅ Ensure they have a clear point of contact for questions...
