The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has dismissed 55 faculty members and 60 non-teaching staff across its #Mumbai, #Hyderabad, #Guwahati, and #Tuljapur campuses without notice, citing funding issues with the Tata Education Trust. This includes half of the teaching staff and all non-teaching staff at its Guwahati campus. Dismissals affected long-term staff and left many projects in limbo. #TISS claims multiple attempts to secure funding failed, while faculty members suspect a link to new UGC regulations. Indian National Congress #RaGa Help and handhold Tata Trusts from doing this injustice to innocent #people of Tata Institute of Social Sciences in their 4 campuses. If they can pay to the most ever corrupt government through #ElectoralBonds under their political pressure...Tata Trusts must fund the lives of its Tata Institute of Social Sciences families in 4 campuses.

Sad…All faculties are exceptionly talented. Sad to lose such heroes. I fully stand for them and their families. May god bless. 🙏

Definitely some miss communication from the TISS higher authorities to Tata funding agency. It's impossible as I know the legacy and work culture of the Tata group being in Jamshedpur and having three generations working for Tata'. Good that matter has been resolved
