🌱🌱 A day in production. 👬👬 We care about the growth of our young employees, and it is important for us that they embrace the values of Ital G.E.T.E. For this reason, even those who work in administration spent a day in our warehouses to observe production. Starting from the selection of raw materials, through the study and formulation of paints, all the way to filling cylinders and storing finished products, they were able to understand how the work is carried out at every stage of production. Why do we do this❓ Because it is important for us that every person fully understands the activities in which others are involved. This allows us to raise awareness among all our employees to have a comprehensive understanding of the company and the issues that may arise in different departments, making problem-solving easier. We recently turned the tables, immersing our young administrative colleagues directly into the heart of production. The aim was to forge an unshakable understanding of their role's impact on the production departments’ colleagues. Let's visualize: fresh-faced youth, armed with spreadsheets and emails, now stand shoulder to shoulder with veterans on the filling lines. They experience firsthand the domino effect of their decisions, big and small, and witness the integral role they play. The result? Enhanced empathy, improved communication and a deeper sense of collective responsibility. Moving forward, this will be no longer a one-time experiment. We are evaluating to make it our new onboarding process. Not just to inform but to immerse. To not just introduce but to integrate. Because when the walls between 'us' and 'them' crumble, we're left with a powerful understanding: we're all in this together.

“We’ve always done it this way” In Székesfehérvár at a forum organized by MGYOSZ/BusinessHungary I took part in an exciting roundtable discussion with several employers. It was a continuation of our joint action plan preparatory work, to be launched in November. In the first half of the workshop, the organizers presented the results of the past 6 months’ work about the anticipated structural changes in the labor force, the trends affecting the Hungarian labor market and their anticipated consequences by 2035. The report will be published and made available to employers in the coming weeks. Several timely and influential topics were discussed. A significant change is foreseen that will impact the future of education and may also affect the employees’ professional training, since companies need specialized, skilled workers. However, it is important to remember that this is not possible without structural and mindset changes. It will not work with the same methods, because as Heraclitus said circa 500 BC, the only constant is change. This is true even today. We can start, either as an organization or at a personal level, on a new path, possibly well outside our comfort zone. I’m very happy with this initiative and I am proud to have been able to represent ALPLA Group. Let’s build the future together.
