Despite the mini spring break #TechWeekInReview was quite active. Many plans for scaling, pivoting and expansions. Events are in intense preparation and lining up important subjects and strong speakers. ➡️@Deltia.AI a raised 4,5 million euro to support its client base expansion. The startup is helping the optimization of industrial processes integrating data from optical sensors and video cameras with computer vision and AI support. The solution, co-founded by a Romanian, in Germany, led to a 10%-30% increase of productivity and a decrease with up to 50% of the onboarding time for new employees for the existing clients. ➡️KOTYS Tech plans expansion in the American market and already opened a headquarters in the USA. The startup offering solutions for precision agriculture has specialized now on offering the solution for companies managing lawns and green spaces on the American market. The solution helps companies to irrigate and use just right amounts of fertilizers and seeds as well as paper work automatization. ➡️dMonitor launched a new AI module helping companies screening and analyzing open data in just a minute. The startup plans expansion in 20 new emerging markets with its anti-laundering solution helping companies such as banks, financial institutions, traders verify clients with public exposure, their background, international list of sanctions etc. ➡️theCoRD.ai plans expansion in 10 countries for its AI based solution which supports small and medium companies with remote teams have productive and efficient meetings. The startup documented and analyzed over 3000 online meetings and created a set of 14 parameters that are helpful in identifying coaching interventions. The solution was tested on teams in UK and Germany. Events ➡️ANIS Romania prepared the ANIS International Summit that will address most interesting and pressing themes for the tech industry on 8th of May (Speakers include officials, regulators, top industry leaders and also #TechAngels Chairman of the Board, Marius Istrate). What a week it´s been at Web Summit Over 70.000 people, 2.600 startups and 900 investors came together at the world's largest tech event. We had many highlights throughout the week which include: 1️⃣ Mindset matters most in the world of entrepreneurship — Silvio Kutic, Co-founder and CEO of Infobip, explored the distinct landscape of Unicorns in the USA versus Europe. The key lies in a straightforward answer: Europeans often approach entrepreneurship with a greater fear of failure, driving them to take every precaution to avoid it. 2️⃣ Innovation knows no bounds: Many great speakers highlighted how innovative thinking can transform the world in ways we couldn't anticipate. We learned that it's essential to be open to new ideas and seek innovative solutions for our challenges. 3️⃣ AI continues to dominate the tech sphere - whether addressing its regulation, its potential to aid or impede us, it was a widely discussed topic. Undoubtedly, the future pivots around AI, instigating concerns about job security for many. Yet, AI could actually be a source of assistance for workers rather than an impediment.
