Proud to have Gladiator Energy sponsor my Alma Mater, West Virginia University at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) - Pittsburgh Section Pints and Posters event. It was a nostalgic experience to see the ambitious young talent and how almost a decade ago I was in their shoes, unaware of where my degree would take me. It was interesting to see Amanda Earle, PhD as a panelist speaker. I bumped into Amanda, who was my TA at WVU in 2014, unexpectedly in the man camps in ND in 2017. It was rare to see another woman in these camps, but practically a miracle to run into one we knew. She now teaches classes at WVU and works for Infinity Natural Resources, LLC, while I work in sales. Proof of how versatile our degrees are. Congratulations to our scholarship winners and a big thank you to all professionals who came out to support SPE’s Young Professionals at our annual Pints & Posters.
