September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and it’s important to talk about this difficult topic with our kids, even though it can be challenging. I’d like to share this touching short film, Are You Okay?, that illustrates how our actions can deeply affect the mental health of those around us, both positively and negatively. Watching this together can be a great way to start a conversation with your child or students about bullying, suicidal thoughts, warning signs, and the value of having a trusted adult or friend to turn to. Remember, #YouAreNotAlone For more resources and support, visit https://lnkd.in/e6XBFAjk

🌍 World Suicide Prevention Day 🎗️ Today, on World Suicide Prevention Day, we come together to raise awareness and break the silence surrounding mental health struggles. Every life matters, and it’s time we foster an environment of understanding, empathy, and support for those battling invisible battles. Whether it’s lending an ear, checking in on a loved one, or promoting access to mental health resources, each of us has the power to make a difference. Small acts of kindness and open conversations can change, and even save lives. In line with this cause, I’ve posted a short film that focuses on suicide prevention and the importance of seeking help. It portrays real-life challenges and shows how family and professional support can be lifesaving. I hope you all will like it and share it to spread awareness. Please find the link below. https://lnkd.in/eB2NMPs7 Remember, it’s okay to seek help. It’s okay to not be okay. Let’s spread hope, not stigma. Together, we can create a world where mental health is prioritized, and no one feels alone in their struggles. #worldsuicidepreventionday #mentalhealthmatters

🎬Soft Rain - A Short Film with a Powerful Message 🌧️ "Soft Rain" isn't just another short film—it's a poignant reminder of the silent battles that many face every day. The film beautifully captures the subtle signs of depression, illustrating that what we see on the surface often doesn’t tell the whole story. Key Takeaway: Depression isn’t always obvious. We never truly know what someone might be going through behind their smile, their words, or their silence. 💡 The Message: Be Kind to Others: A small act of kindness can make a world of difference. Sometimes, it’s the gentle words or a simple gesture that can help someone feel seen and supported. Be Kind to Yourself: Self-compassion is just as important. It’s okay to not be okay, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. In a world where mental health struggles are often hidden, "Soft Rain" serves as a powerful reminder to approach each other with empathy, understanding, and kindness. Let’s all take a moment to check in on ourselves and those around us. A little kindness can go a long way. ❤️ Check the below link to watch the short movie. https://lnkd.in/gmWUiEMn #MentalHealthAwareness #BeKind #SoftRainFilm #Depression #Empathy #KindnessMatters BlockTXM Inc TravelXM

It helps break the stigma surrounding mental health, promotes a supportive environment, and fosters understanding. Additionally, sharing can lead to valuable emotional support, encouragement to seek professional help, and ultimately contribute to better mental well-being. Men often face societal expectations to be stoic, making open communication vital for addressing mental health challenges effectively. #Passionate about wellbeing #creativity# mental health awareness #equality #access to education #employment for all.
Hey LinkedIn community. I want to share this post with you to raise awareness around men's mental health✍. Please can I ask you all to like and share, even if it doesn't strike a cord with you, it may with someone else you are connected to. My biggest passion in life is mental health awareness and reducing the stigma about talking about how we are feeling. ✔ Talking is so important, sharing what's on your mind and feeling listened to helps relieve the burden. ✔ Encourage your friends/ family/ co workers to connect with you. ✔ Stay in touch with people who may have gone quiet and be open to asking someone" How are they really doing" ? The amazing men in our lives can hide how they are coping. They can avoid the conversations, and see it as being weak if they talk about their feelings. A hug or a handshake, a ride on a bike, a pat on the back, a nod to say you are there for them. Anything that acknowledges that you know they are going though a rough patch, that you see them and that it's OK to not feel ok. This video says it all- about friendship-support-and about being there for someone. Its the best gift you can give someone, being there for them 🤘 Men, there is strength in vulnerability. Being strong is about asking for help. We are not supposed to do it by ourselves. We are pack animals. 🙏 #mensmentalhealth #menshealth #mentalhealthsupport #mentalhealthfirstaid #peersupport, #mentalhealthireland, #mentalhealthsupport, #mentalhealthrecovery, #recoverythroughcommunity https://lnkd.in/ea7HUskE https://lnkd.in/erCHKZqr

So much of our efforts to support mental health focus on *fixing* the person. But what if we just focus on fixing social norms to be more inclusive and forgiving? #neurodiversity #psychologicalsafety #humancenteredleadership https://lnkd.in/eX5hccyC
