Using a dataset from Roboflow, this project has been a fantastic opportunity to apply and expand my knowledge in computer vision and machine learning. The goal was to understand audience sentiment and provide insights into movie performance and viewer preferences. Here's a quick overview: 📊 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐭 IMDB Movie Reviews Dataset from Kaggle (50,000 reviews) 🔍 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡: Support Vector Machine (SVM)—a robust classifier that helps in distinguishing between positive and negative sentiments based on text features. 🎯 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬: - Training Accuracy: 99.22% - Testing Accuracy: 96.97% - F1 Score: 0.97 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝: - Data Collection: Used IMDB Movie Reviews dataset - Preprocessing: Cleaned data, handled imbalanced classes through under sampling - Splitting: Training (67%) and Testing (33%) - Feature Engineering: Extracted text features using TF-IDF vectorization - Model Training: SVM classifier - Evaluation: Assessed with accuracy and F1 score - Fine-tuning: Experimented with hyperparameters and preprocessing techniques This project highlights the capability of machine learning to extract valuable insights from text data, enabling businesses to better understand customer opinions and improve their offerings. Happy to share updates from my internship at a Gen-AI startup, @InstaPhotoAI ! 📸🚀 I ran various models on my local machine, adjusting command-line arguments to accommodate my GEFORCE GTX GPU. -> One of the challenges we encountered was the CUDA.OutOfMemory error. To resolve this, we implemented a solution that optimized memory  allocation and management, enabling the models to run smoothly without exceeding the available GPU memory. -> I also contributed to improving the efficiency of the face swapping extension. By switching from CPU to CUDA execution, we achieved a 75% reduction in processing time, going from 4 seconds to under 1 second per image generation! ⏰ I would like to extend a special thanks to Navita Pareek for her guidance and support throughout my internship journey.
